Attention, even though there are doggy cookies, it is not pet friendly place. My husband and I visited and had coffees there two weeks ago, and we visited there today again with our dog because we saw doggy cookies inside of the shop. I did check the maindoor before I entered, and there were not any notice posted. The staff was extreamly unfrendly, (actually this was I noticed at my first visit.) and asked, "is your dog a service dog?" I felt so embrassed because of his attitude. It sounds like a school teacher ticking off a student. When he asked this, I saw the doggy cookie jar, it was in front of his face. My husband asnwered, "This is a pet friendly area, isn't it? As you see there is doggy cookie jar. If it is not a pet friendly area, why it is here? He said, "This is not pet friendly, I will deliver your drink to outside. Please leave with your dog." I should not buy any drink and left there at that time. Then, my teffible experience would be finished there. However, it was continued. I told my husband waited me with our doggy outside, ordered two drink, then we waited for him in the outside of door. There were not any tables and chairs. we just stood and waited. He tossed our two drink without lids and straws. I did not say anything to him, and I entered the store by myself and took two lids and straws and left. HE WAS REALLY RUDE. I have no idea why he kept those rude attitude to us. There were not any notice about pet that's why we entered, and we left promply when he kicked us out even though our dog never barked and done any mistake there. I feel so sorry to my husband and my dog because I pushed them to get there. I will not visit there again...
Read moreI had been a loyal customer of Compass Coffee for quite some time, always enjoying their delicious brews and cozy atmosphere. However, my recent experience with their app and the lack of customer service has left me extremely disappointed.
I recently uploaded the app under the recommendation of a friend. Last week, I attempted to use the Compass Coffee app to purchase a $7 coffee, the app ended up placing the purchase at another location, leaving me without my caffeine fix and $7 poorer.
The manager at the location I was inside of refused to honor the purchase this despite that I was in person to purchase gift cards for teacher appreciation. I decided to cancel that transaction when they refused to honor my coffee purchase and I immediately emailed customer service through the app.
I have yet to receive any form of acknowledgment or resolution for my issue which was exactly 8 days ago.
I hope Compass Coffee takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues with their app and customer service. As a once-loyal customer, it's disheartening to see such a decline in service quality.

Read moreI live in Fairfax and I pass by the store everyday on the way home. It's really inviting with the contemporary design and sunlight from the windows. I swung by and got hooked. It's my place to chill on my day off now. There are plenty of seats at the coffee shop for us to sit back, relax, and chill with the cup of coffee. You can easily find the strong cold brew to light vanilla latte. They have just added the Cherry Blossom flavor which is really interesting. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. If you are new to Compass, do not hesitate to ask them for the recommendations. Sometimes the customer line is long but they handle the orders quickly with the big smile. The store is pretty clean and loaded with plants and flowers. It feels like home! They sell the coffee bean tins and you can bring the tin(s) back to refill with a discount. And you can bring your tumbler so the staff can make the coffee for you. This is really nice for environmental friendly customers. They have the apps; however, it's for IOS users at the moment. I think they are working on the Android version atm. Take advantage of their apps...
