We just left after dinner today, a bit disappointed. Last we ate, this restaurant was still Qui, which we love, but decided to try the new restaurant.
Pros: Nice servers, very accommodating. Didn’t have any issues getting what we ordered.
Clean bathrooms, restaurant, & environment. Restaurant looked very well organized. Music was fun but not too loud. Definitely left without the pungent korean BBQ smell!! Grills have great ventilation.
Extensive menu with plenty of options. We wanted to order everything on the menu! Great drinks selection.
Cons: Overpriced for the quality of meat. We ordered the premium cuts and they were just ok. Marinated garlic short rib was so bland. LA galbi was marinated great, but a bit on the thin side. Premium pork belly was good (once it was thoroughly cooked), but our experience with it was ruined by the fact that it was still raw (see below). No complaints about the ribeye. Basic cuts were as expected. Sides were typical. Nothing to rave about, all ok and pretty standard.
Our server cooked chicken on the same grill as our beef, right next to each other. We expected him to cook the beef first, then chicken after. We’ve noticed other korean BBQ places cook chicken separately in the back to prevent foodborne illness.
He also used the same tongs for raw and cooked meat, then placed the dirty tongs on top of our already cooked meat. There was no regard for food safety. We had to ask for another pair of tongs so we could use one for raw meat and one for cooked meat, but he would mix them up, so there was no point having 2 tongs... even though we had strategically placed the tongs for raw meat by the grill and the tongs for cooked meat on the cooked meat plate. I also want to note that this was a Monday evening when they were not at all busy.
Our premium cut pork belly was still raw. Of course, since it’s so thick, it needs to be cooked longer, but our server didn’t bother to check if our food was cooked thoroughly. We’re used to taking over some of the cooking so that our meat will be more evenly cooked since these places get busy cooking for everyone, but having to put meat back onto the grill constantly because pork was raw is ridiculous.

Overall meats & sides we would rate 3/5. Typically our experience is that meat quality trumps and sides lack/are standard OR meat quality is standard but sides are phenomenal. Rarely, we get both great meat quality and delicious notable sides. Don’t expect either for this restaurant. Meats and sides were both standard quality but they definitely had lots of options! Menu is more extensive than other korean BBQ places we’ve been to. We won’t return purely based on we don’t want to get sick from eating raw chicken or pork. Our experience definitely ruined by the fear of eating...
Read moreI came here during Thanksgiving weekend and had the most uncomfortable dining experience ever. The food was good, the server who helped us was great, I have no complaints about those but the cleaning staff was ridiculous. We went there at about 5:30, our group finished the food except me at about 6:30 and there were people waiting for tables at the door. We were handed over the check, as the server had to help other tables, but I was still finishing my food. The cleaning team saw the check had been signed and immediately came to clean out everything, even my water, while I was still actively eating in front of them. I was shook, but thought they wanted to speed up the process, so I continued to eat. 10 minutes later, the cleaning staff came again with an impatient face saying “you need to leave, there are people waiting for the table”, while I was still actively eating in front of him! Never in my life was I ever getting evicted out of the restaurant, the reason is even because I didn’t finish a buffet in an hour and there are other customers the restaurant seems to care more about waiting for me. Am I not your customer too after you get my money? Did I stay there the whole night keeping people waiting? Not to mention I paid $65 per person, and this is the respect I received. I walked out of the door 5 minutes later, I know I will never come back, and I will advise everyone not to come, who knows whether you will be the next to be politely kicked out simply for staying there a bit longer than what the...
Read moreThis place was excellent. By far the best service I had at a KBBQ restaurant. My friends and I had a server, Jin and he was wonderful. His recommendations on what to get were all great.
The spicy bulgogi here was great. It's one of the better ones I've had at a kbbq place. Just the right amount of heat to be enjoyable.
We had the orange beef bulgogi but had it a half-and-half mix with regular and it was really good. A light orange flavor so it's not too overpowering. Which was a suggestion from our server.
The cumin pork belly was great... if you are familiar with the Puerto Rican dish Pernil this is almost exactly what it tastes like, just in mini bites.
All the sauces are very good and complement the different meats you get.
We got some extra mushrooms to grill. Make sure you get to drizzle them in a bit of sesame oil and add some cheese for an extra treat.
I did like the corn cheese here but it was a little too watery still, the flavor was great.
We got to chat with our server and that was a real treat. In most kbbq places we've been the server pretty much ignores you and doesn't even tend to your table and we end up with burnt meat. Out hostesses, Anna even came by and helped out and chatted too. Both were very pleasant, friendly, and attentive to our table and the ones around us.
There are two gender-neutral bathrooms and they were very clean.
I'm already trying to plan another trip back here. We enjoyed this place very much.
Get your channel together Jin. We are...
