Batteries Plus — Local services in Fairfield

The house batteries for our RV needed to be replaced. We purchased 2 Duracell golf cart batteries online and picked them up at the Fairfield, CT location.

(We initially purchased them for pickup at the Orange, CT location and when we go there found they didn't have them in stock. Not sure why the website let us purchase at a location that didn't have them but that's a website programming thing...) At the Orange location we purchased a new battery for our cars key fob. The gentleman at that location tested the current battery in the fob and educated us on when we should replace the battery.

At the Fairfield, CT location, the gentleman there explained the core charge process and took the batteries to the car and loaded them for us (they are about 60lbs ea). When we got back to the RV to swap them out, we did notice one of the batteries didn't have the pack of nuts attached. We had to drive all the way back to the location to get the pack of nuts but the gentleman apologized and quickly gave us a set to take with us.

The batteries have been working great so far, we've had them installed for about 4 days now and their capacity is amazing compared to the Duralast we had installed. When fully charged on our solar, we go the entire night without the batteries...

4.6 stars is a massive understatement!! This establishment is extremely well kept, organized and very clean. An estimated 45 minute wait time for a S23 Ultra screen replacement, absolutely smashed down to 25 minutes! Flawless execution, expectations immaculately blow out of the water! Customer service is 11/10, professionalism is 11/10, chance of referral 11/10. I'm not writing this review to glamorize or front, those are all straight facts per my experience. I could tell no difference unwrapping new, out the box vs this replacement! Curved edges are done immaculately, screen quality is flawless 👌 I leave reviews few and far In-between even if asked to do so. I am very blunt when it comes to reviews when I do wrote them. I've had my 2013 Sonata for over ten years now. Both original key fobs have stopped working in the past (2018) and are repeating the same failure now in 2025. The problem is that they are so old, they no longer hold their programming and the dealership wants over $700 to replace the key fob and reprogram it. Not only that, it would take over a week to get the parts.

Thankfully for me, I had an aftermarket remote start installed that allowed me limited use of the car without an active key fob, but it had to be remedied.

Even with it not being in stock and not having a functioning fob, the fine gentlemen at this Batteries Plus were able to get me reprogrammed with a new fob in less than an hour after getting the part overnighted for me.

Absolutely recommend THIS Batteries Plus. It's not the closest one to me, but due to their professionalism and compassion, it will continue to by MY Batteries...
