Have been to this restaurant a few times now for their buffet and the food is always cold on weekdays. I recently went there with a few co-workers and it was the same thing again. On being asked for feedback, in an extremely polite manner, we mentioned that the food was cold and the server completely lost it. What ensued is something that I have never experience before in my life where the server (I did not catch his name but he mentioned that he is of Bangladeshi Origin) was extremely rude, aggressive in his body language and at time we felt like he was threatening us physically. When the girl that was with us asked him to lower his voice and act in a civilized manner, he proceeded to threaten her by screaming at her and stating that "What do you want me to do touch your feet"...extremely bizarre. Realizing that this individual and the situation were getting completely out of control, we repeatedly asked for the check, the waiter out of hell did not allow us to pay and eventually we had to leave with him still hurling insults at us. The chef followed us out of the restaurant and he had a better appreciation for our concerns and the servers indiscretions.
Beware!! Based on what I have heard from my Indian friends and now experienced first hand, if you are Indian or have Indian ethnicity and you choose to go this restaurant, you will be discriminated against and insulted!!!!!! and served cold perhaps stale food as well.
Overall an extremely harrowing and unpleasant experience!!!!!
Review from 3 months ago, below: Have always had a bad experience. Took people from work for Lunch buffet twice and the food was cold on both occasions. Have ordered dinner a few times and the chicken is hard almost feels like it has been reheated from the previous day. It is rather expensive compared to other Indian restaurants so I was hoping that the least they could do is serve quality meat. Very disappointed, will not be...

The moment you step into this vibrant haven, you are warmly welcomed by the aroma of exotic spices that fill the air, instantly transporting you to the bustling streets of India. Taj beautifully encapsulates the rich and diverse culinary heritage of India with its expansive menu, boasting a wide array of dishes that celebrate the nuanced flavors and aromatic seasonings that characterize this extraordinary cuisine. The ambiance at Taj is as delightful as the food, with tasteful decor that tastefully merges modern aesthetics with traditional Indian elements, creating an atmosphere that's both inviting and elegant. The service is just as impeccable; the staff are attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable, ensuring your dining experience is as smooth as it is enjoyable. But it's their signature dish, the Biryani, that truly steals the show. The aromatic, long-grained basmati rice is subtly infused with a medley of spices, interspersed with tender, marinated meat or vegetables and served with a cooling raita on the side. It's a sensory feast that perfectly encapsulates the essence of Indian cuisine. Taj isn't just a restaurant - it's a culinary journey through India that promises an unforgettable gastronomic experience, right in the heart...
Read moreA wonderful restaurant. My family and I come here at least once a week, and it is great for a date night as well. The staff is extremely and genuinely friendly, all of the food is spectacular, and you can just feel how much pride everyone here takes in both the food and the service. The other day the manager took the time to show me how to properly construct a Bhel Puri during a busy lunch buffet, and he did so in a very kind way, with no condescension, as he was happily sharing a part of his culture purely for my benefit and enjoyment.
The goat pepper fry is particularly out of this world, and I have yet to try anything on the menu that didn't amaze my taste buds. The lunch buffet is always a large variety of excellent dishes, which are freshly prepared and never allowed to sit out too long.
The value for the dollar is exceptional. The portions are large, and the staff are more than happy to send you home with very carefully packed leftovers and sometimes they throw in a little extra naan or dessert. Takeout is always very thoughtfully packed and they will perfectly accommodate and time your order to your arrival if you plan to pick up later on, so your food is never just sitting there.
Go here, often, and you will always be...
