I would give Rena @ Salon V ten stars if I could!

Rena has been coloring and cutting my hair for over a year now. I cannot emphasize how excellent she is. She accommodates my schedule whenever she can, occasionally working on her day off just to do my hair. Rena's color sense and skill are superb - The best I've ever experienced. I receive compliments on my hair color all the time!

I have been having my hair colored for nearly 20 years, and it has never looked so good. I have patronized many salons, especially having moved from state to state in past years as well as from town to town within Connecticut. After several subpar experiences in the Fairfield/Stratford/Milford area, I was delighted to find Salon V in Fairfield.

Rena pays exceptional attention to detail, and she really listens to my preferences regarding styling and cut. She is thorough and meticulous throughout every aspect of each service.

Rena is always pleasant and professional...and she never forgets the names and birthdates (!!) of my children and grandchildren. If my previous occupation of Rena's chair happened to be just prior to a special occasion, she remembers the event upon my next visit and never fails to ask if I had a good time.

Jackie has done my color a couple of times, as well, and the results have been excellent.

At Salon V, customers always are offered a beverage, and the entire venue is sparkling clean, including the rest room. All of the products...

I'm a bit of a hair cut chicken. I've had too many lousy cuts over as many years and have been hesitant to try anyone new after my trusted stylist moved out of state. I've gone over 2 years with anything more than one bargain cut just to take off the dead ends. I met Michelle out and about one afternoon and we talked about my hair, my concerns and my deep desire to maintain my hair length, which is probably way longer than most professionals would deem to be ideal for me. I went home and booked an appointment almost immediately. Salon V is beautiful. I love the very private and very classy styling stations. Michelle took the time to listen to what I wanted and respected my wishes for keeping length but giving me shape and style versatility. We discussed future tactics to update my look (baby steps) and then Sam stepped in and gave me a perfect blow out and told me what to do to maintain the look for a couple of days. I booked my next appointment and an appointment for my hippie chick almost 11 year old daughter to get her a new rockin' style for her birthday. I found a new, comfy home for my hair needs and look forward to seeing what kind of tricks Michelle has up...

I don’t typically publish reviews but I need to express how thrilled I am with my recent services. After listening to my wish to no longer color my hair, Michelle took on the challenge of returning me to my natural color, which is currently a silvery white. She took the time to carefully consider a variety of processes and the condition of my previously colored and highlighted hair. Not only did she tone the previously colored hair to a beautiful shiny silver, but she managed to blend it with my natural regrowth. I believe she achieved a contemporary look while freeing me from hair dyes, crayons and sprays to hide my gray. Michelle has a great deal of knowledge and experience with hair color. She selects her product lines with extreme care and stays up on new formulations and techniques. No matter what hair service she is providing, she considers the complexities associated with achieving the desired outcome and provides feedback before she moves ahead.
