Target — Local services in Fairfield

I am a loyal Target customer, meaning I've got there Target card, shop there for food first before a grocery store, have the app, etc.. This is isn't my normal Target, but seriously the worst one I've ever been to. I agree that the lines suck no matter what time of day it is. The customer service sucks. I registered online and walked in to get my gift bag and the customer service witch said "I don't THINK we have any" and then didn't move her lazy ass till I asked her to go check. She did. So then I said when will you get more and she said I don't know maybe on the weekend. I'm like ok can you hold one or call or something and with an attitude she says no. There's another heavy set one (sorry thats the best description) that normally works at customer service is so mean and makes you think you stole the item you are returning. I don't need a receipt if I used my Target card or actually any card for that matter because the computer automatically finds the transaction based on that, that's why I love all other Targets. On one particular day she was working the food counter I went in to get a slurpee and it came to 2.02, instead of saying don't worry about the 2 cents she cost the company $2 because I didn't have 2 cents!!!! Sorry I'm pregnant and I wanted a dang on slurpee and the QuickCheck right by this Target was out toooo!!

Oh and the Pharmacy is disgusting too. Only nice Pharmacist, but the Techs look nasty and it looks like they might help themselves to some of the pain meds!! But its a mess there too!

Worst customer service, was accused of trying to steal an item I purchased. I used to love going to this location but the customer service has fell off a cliff. I purchased an item around 2 weeks ago it was $10 and due to the parking lot not having many lights I seem to have left my purchase in the cart. I went to customer service to ask if they found anything in a cart and put in list and found but I’m assuming they just took out of the cart and restocked it. Now if the lighting in the parking lot was adequate I would have seen the item left in my cart but it seems they have a lot of lights turned off to save money on electricity but it is a huge safety and security concern to have customers walking to their vehicles in pitch black parking lot with potentially expensive items. Not sure why this store has gone so downhill but I recommend staying as far away from this target location as possible as the customer service employee looked at me like I was trying to pull a fast one on him and said they would need to check cameras to see if I’m lying, very disappointing over $10 which I had to purchase the item again but all of this could have been easily resolved if the employee was willing to help instead of accusing me of trying to steal the item. Which as a past target employee I know the camera system can go further back than my purchase date, they just did not want to assist me it appears interrupted the 2 employees phone time while they were both sitting at the desk paying attention to nothing but their phones instead of actually trying to help me...

UPDATE: 6/13/23 Just left this Target and all I can say is, How sad! They had an upgrade in how it looks but the service has gone DOWN severely! No one at the regular registers at first, one self check out closed with a bunch of stuff around it, the other self check out manned by one nice older man, who wiped the check out down (so that was nice). Then one person manned register opened but needed a manager shortly and the light flashed the entire time I was on line at self check out, poor people waiting for the manager for so long. The aisles were way messier than I have seen it in a long time. Clothes and all sorts of garbage and just things not in place…They used to have a nice guy greeting you, carts stocked, clean floors and well stocked. I went to customer service but left because the line was long and the woman was complaining to the other one about why xyz person shouldn’t go on break at a certain time… this store needs new management and staff ASAP!

The best thing about this Target, they are usually well stocked. The worst is the bathrooms and lack of staff. Bathrooms always need toilet paper or need to be cleaned and the staff doesn’t take ownership of things. I told one lady the bathroom needed attention, she pointed to another and said for me to go tell the other employee that the bathroom needed attention. I’m sorry but that’s not customer service. She should have gotten on the radio and called the person not me walking around the store to...
