Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 7925 — Local services in Fairfield

I've gone there for an event about 2 months ago after that somebody from the location itself mentioned that I can come back so I took them up on that and went back as a guest on a Friday evening for gentlemen and the bartenders sitting around I mentioned I was told I can come back as a guest. One of the gentleman kindly explain that Disabled veterans elks American legion all of them except guests except that this post does not accept guests unless you know someone that is already a member which is interesting because all of these other locations I walked in and they said you could come in as a guest no problem so I sat down and would have some drinks to patronize the services of that specific club. After being shown the way out and not even having the courtesy of any of the four members sitting there to say hey we don't allow it but since you're here you could definitely be one of our guests and welcome yourself to a drink or two I would have paid I'm not looking for free drinks but common courtesy is everyone's responsibility. Every other association that I went back to and told them about this incident they were also surprised even the Disabled American Veterans leader said I was surprised and I am not happy about the way they treated you any one of them could have said hey it's okay just come here have a seat enjoy your drinks and call it a night so that explains the rating for this place which I would have thought is about camaraderie, teamwork, support but I guess not. We recently had our son's first birthday party here and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Brian was so helpful and accommodating with all our needs. The hall is spacious, well-lit, and clean, and the bathrooms were also spotless. There's useful kitchen amenities. Plenty of parking for guests. It was the perfect sized room to have catered food, a party favor table, and rolling bar which we used for cake and desserts. Plus, we had plenty of room for a comfortable soft-play space for the kids, who had a blast! We especially appreciated the banner stand and sound system. We would happily consider having other family celebrations here again in the future. Getting to support our vets here is an added bonus! We cannot thank you enough...

We hosted our son’s first birthday here over the past weekend and couldn’t be happier with the experience! What a great space! It was ideal for our event with about 80 people. The space itself is great and adaptable for various themes. We ended up doing a rookie of the year party and it was perfect. Everyone had a great time. There was a speaker available to hook up to Bluetooth, a bar area, kitchen accessibility to heat up food, and the bathrooms were clean. Plenty of parking. The guys are great to work with!
