BOBBY CABOOSE DELI GRILL — Restaurant in Fairfield

This place is so damn good! The other day I tried, Bobby Caboose Deli Grill, for lunch. I was thoroughly impressed. Talk about some great food. I had ordered their, Famous Philly Cheesesteak w/ a side of their Chilli, it was absolutely fantastic! The steak was seasoned well, extremely juicy, and it was honestly one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks I’ve had in a really long time. The Philly Cheesesteak came topped with peppers and onions, and a cheese sauce. All together is an excellent combo. Absolutely loved the Philly Cheesesteak! The owner also suggested that I try their Chilli, and simply remarked “it’s some damn good Chilli”. The Chilli was in fact DAMN GOOD! It was hearty, flavorful, and had a bit of a spicy kick to it. The Chilli was just a perfect pairing with their Philly Cheesesteak. The owner was really nice, and attentive. Made sure my order was correct. Amazing service. The atmosphere felt homelike. As though you were dining at your grandpa’s favorite diner down the road. All in all, I’d HIGHLY RECOMMEND, Bobby Caboose Deli Grill, to ANYONE in the Fairfield, NJ area and is looking for some excellent food. Can not wait to try this...

I ordered a Turkey and Cheese sub for 7 dollars and change (according to the menu on display). After the cashier ran my Visa card, he hands me a receipt for $9.58. When I asked him what happened, he said there is a 50 cent charge for credit cards, and the actual price of the sandwich was $8.45! So the listed price (on their menu) was incorrect, and there is no sign whatsoever stating the extra fee for credit cards. By the way, I didn't even order cheese on the sub. Almost 10 dollars for a plain old turkey sub??? AVOID!

We just bought a house in Fairfield and my husband always goes to the auto shop right across it for our cars. Decided to try caboose on a random weekend and it’s definitely our go to sandwich place. Everything is always fresh, sandwiches made to order, their prepared salads are top notch and the guys make it just how you want it. This is not your cheapo chain places like subway and def not in that price range but you pay for quality and freshness and we support small businesses. Keep up the great...
