I went to the East Coast in July and totally forgot to write a review. That's how life during a pandemic is... Wow! Wow! Wow! Double Zero Pizza makes one of the best wood oven pizzas! The slightly charred bubbles and edges r so full of flavor.. The crust is soooo good!! Just the perfect amount of dough. He uses authentic ingredients such as oil and tomato from Italy. The owner knows his craft. He is a true artist. He and his wife are super nice.. It was a phone order after I justed landed in Newark. I got a bit lost. He called me and was worried that I had not arrived yet and that the pizza wouldn't be good cuz' it had cooled.. When I finally arrived, he was standing outside with the box of pizza... What hospitality!! A definite place to eat when u r in New Jersey!!

I had the Margherita pizza. It was great. Great taste and texture. After eating the whole pie, I was wanting more. It was very delicious. The owner knows how to make quality pizza. New Jersey has many pizzerias, but Double Zero is definitely a cut above the rest. Of course this is my personal opinion, but living in NJ all my life and trying countless pizzas, you should stop there and try there pizza. To the owner, thank you for fantastic wood oven fired pizza and great conversation while making the pizza.

Terrific pizza place JUST past Unique Photo headed west. The tomatoes and olive oil they use are so tasty. I remember the owner introducing me to San Marzano tomatoes a few years ago. Damn fine sandwiches too. I haven't tried any entrees but I suspect they'd be excellent too. The owners are wonderful and will take good care of you! A not to be missed gem of a pizzeria! Dave Portnoy has gotta check them out!

Great wood brick oven crusty pizza!!! They have a large selection of pizzas including veggie ones. Their bread is home made with dough brought from Italy. This bread is incredible soft inside and crusty outside as it's also bakes in the brick oven. Only thing it's noticeable salty so if you are looking for diet low in sodium this is not the place. They have many other Italian entrees which are large portions too. The chicken parmesan was something than two people could share. For a small place like this the desserts were incredible! They have all sorts of Italian desserts, canoli, tiramisu, great icecream too. Prices are average but again portions are large. The location is not the best and it's a bit unassuming from route 46. It was a Saturday evening and it wasn't crowded. It's owned by a family and all seem...

I've been hearing about this place for a long time. A few people I trust with good food also recommended it. They were right! Thin, crispy crust, fresh tasting San Marzano tomato sauce and whole milk mozzarella. I watched the pizza maker finish it off with a sprinkle of parmesan and a drizzle of olive oil. On the small side. I could definitely eat one by myself! But no worries, I ordered three! Two pepperoni and the Popeye pizza. Ricotta, spinach, roasted garlic, crumbled chorizo and San Marzano tomatoes. Both were over the top delicious! I plan on eventually trying them all! No delivery, cash only. There are two tables for four so we sat and had ours straight out of the oven! Brought the other two home. The owner was very nice and takes pride in his pizza. I could tell he appreciated my...
