As a loyal and frequent shopper at this supermarket, I have always appreciated the concept of providing the best quality foods for my family. However, I recently experienced an extremely distressing and offensive incident at your store.
While shopping, I noticed that a cashier followed me throughout the store, which was already uncomfortable. Matters escalated when, at checkout, I was confronted by a store employee who accused me of stealing. Specifically, I was asked, “Where is the manuka honey?” This accusation left me shocked, as I had simply been browsing the product and had returned it to the shelf.
The employee went on to imply that merely looking at products constituted theft, which was both insulting and disrespectful. When I requested to speak with the store manager, I was told that this individual was, in fact, the manager.
This experience was deeply humiliating and unacceptable. I trust this supermarket to provide not only quality goods but also a respectful and welcoming environment for its customers. I would appreciate a prompt response and assurance that such treatment will not...
Read moreI’ve been in the store once and ordered delivery once. It isn’t the closest option to me but thought I’d give it a try since it had just opened. I’m not impressed by this store. It seemed disorganized (particularly the produce section), selection wasn’t any better than the other general grocery stores in the area. Prices are slightly higher for the same products. I decided to take advantage of the delivery offer. They have an in house shopper who quickly refunded items and immediately checked out without the option to substitute. Before the shopper arrived, I contacted the store and they had that item in stock. Noting that the missed items were the main reason for the delivery (and I was home sick), he offered me to come into the store to get them. Umm…that’s not an adequate response! There’s a reason I opted for delivery, he should’ve offered for someone to deliver those items. Truly not worth the hassle. And as a side note, the shopper that delivered to my house wasn’t the person listed...
Read moreI was so excited to have a Sprouts come to the neighborhood. It has great food selections that are healthy. While shopping, the staff is generally helpful and friendly. However, the checkout process needs a serious reevaluation. Only the self checkout is ever available and the staff members nearby do not care to help. I went in a few days ago. I am pregnant and had my toddler with me. The process was so stressful having to check everything out myself. The time that it should have taken doubled. And there were staff members nearby the registers who just talked and laughed with each other while watching. This would never happen at Trader Joe’s where team members are quick, efficient and are even helpful to each other by assisting in bagging for one another. I will be making a conscious effort to avoid Sprouts or just not get so many items. It’s really a shame. Sprouts, people come shopping to be in and out....
