I gave the atmosphere one star because it’s a very small dining space. Here is my take on the food: My husband and I tried Isaac’s when it first opened. He got chicken sandwiches , strips, wings, roasted veggies & the slaw! We were pleased with the sandwiches, wings, tenders, roasted chicken and slaw. Since then we have gone back 6 times hoping to get the same quality but have come up short each time for different reasons. 1. Strips- second time they were very overcooked, hard and almost burned. Third time, they were ok but not the same a the fitter time. 2. Bread pudding- the first time I purchased two and they were nice and golden brown on top with lots of flavor, so I bought two more yesterday and opened the container to find that they had also cooked this too long. The top was covered in the sauce but it couldn’t hide the black crisped bread pudding. How do you continue to serve this to customers? Because like us, we order online ands go pick it up expecting everything to be right. 3-slaw and wings have been consistently great, but I’m the only one in my family who eats wings and slaw. I wish I had taken a picture of the bread pudding and strips so you could see that I am not exaggerating, but this is my experience I am sharing so that you can be aware of the quality issues we have experienced. I am a very frequent visitor to Isaac’s, so much so i have to stop myself from visiting everyday. I have also lost track of the amount of friends and people i have introduced to this delicious place. Reasons why you should be like me and visit more than once: Great Food (i mean seriously great the Chicken is some of the best i’ve ever had). Healthy and Tasty homemade drinks, sometimes my friends and i stop in and get all our favorites like Cucumber Mint (my favorite) Grape Ade which is a very close second and Pineapple Apple Basil which is great if you enjoy healthy and herbal drinks. Let me not forget to add FREE REFILLS :). Something so minor really makes the largest difference. I tend to drink like it’s my last so the free refills are immensely appreciated. The staff is always very kind and polite, the atmosphere inside is cozy and nice to enjoy with great company.
