This place has gone downhill. I've been going to Roy Rogers for years and always enjoyed their food and appreciated the friendliness of their staff. While the food itself is still good, the staff at this location needs to learn how to treat customers again. I personally witnessed staff speaking to customers as if they were somehow inonvienicing them for even being there. I was offended to see how the staff was interacting with each and every customer that was in front of me and yes....I got to experience it to. There was no point to ask for a Manager because he was there and could see what was going on and did nothing about any of it. I actually heard an employee make a loud grunting sound as if she could barely contain her frustration when a customer asked to add something to their order after it was taken. The gentlemen that works in the dining room (Kirk) was the exception as he was friendly as he always is. Before jumping to the conclusion that these employees must just be frustrated due to covid understaffing just know rat this location had plenty of staff working but seemed very unorganized and the wait was far beyond what you would assume it to be. I waited around 15 mins to get my food which is why I had the opportunity to witness their treatment of customers and their disgust for their job. I hope that someone monitors these reviews for Roy Rogers and will do something to address this problem. If not, this restaurant will probably lose alot of customers. I know for a fact that alot of the people that dine at this restaurant are very loyal to the brand and will drive past several other chains just to come there because of the fact that they typically provide good customer service. If I ever see this kind of treatment of customers again during one of my visits, I will not return again and im sure others would feel...
Read moreI like the food at Roy Rogers past 20 times when I was there. Every time I come here, I leave hoping that the management could get better.
Kirk Anderson (The Host) wearing the blue shirts is probably the best thing about this place. He always welcomes people warmly and is always seen working diligently. Because of him, I gave two stars instead of one.
Here are some problems that I consistent observed during my past 20 visits: Disorganization: one lady wearing black blouse and glasses who seems to be a supervisor is working very hard. She’s trying to make it happen. Rest of the young ladies have no idea and is not aware of 10 cars in the drive-through lane. The supervisor needs to learn to delegate better. The young ladies need to cooperate. When the lady asked one of the young ladies to quickly take care of the drive-through window, the young lady complained about being stressed out even though she was not doing anything. Noise: The young ladies are talking way too much and loudly. They are so loud that I can clearly hear their conversation from the back of the dining room. Having a good relationship and time with coworkers are important but they have unnecessary loud conversations while the drive-through lane is getting longer. Time: It takes very long to receive my food even when there isn’t many cars in the drive-through and customers inside. While I wait for just an order of fries for 5 min, all the young ladies are laughing aloud and chatting while leaning...
Read moreWow wow wow. Never again. I recently filled out a survey that was sent to me. I expressed my concerns of the quality and freshness of the food. I typically order the kids chicken tender meal through drive through. My fries were hot and fresh but my chicken tenders not so. One chicken tender was warm but the other was cold as if it were the very first tender of the day cooked but so happen to still hang around. I was contacted by whomever from Roy Rogers asking of my experience as well as offering points to rectify the situation. I was fine with points and replied back a couple of days later. I heard nothing. Assuming that I could receieve extra points via drive through as mentioned in the email. I decided to come to this location to receive them. Not only did I not receive my points but I did receive nasty attitude from VAJ because internally they did not comprehend a kids chicken tender meal with fries and a lemonade. Not sure how that translates as a 2 piece combo meal. My first complaint I was starving after working all day without something to eat and chose to come here. Never again will I spend my hard earned money nor time at this location. I literally passed about 10 Roy Rogers in the Mt Airy location as I was leaving work to dine at a place closer to my home. Huge mistake. Save your time money and energy. I don't like to gamble with either. My service was drive through. My chicken tenders were just warm. AGAIN. At least one of them were from...
