We walked in today (Saturday), to get a haircut and there was 2 of us, wanting to get one. We got there at 11:15am and the guy asked if we had a appt and when we said no, he said it will be a wait and we understood that completely. I decided to leave at 12:08 pm, after waiting to get an haircut which did not happen and the guy with me waited inside. He followed behind me, not long after and as he was leaving, the barber said he had to cut his sons hair first and it would only take 15 minutes, which meant we would have been waiting for over a hour and ten minutes, if not longer. I understand wanting to give your son a haircut, but you think you would want to take paying customers 1st and apparently that doesnāt happen, so I guess you all donāt need the income from 2 people needing a haircut. There was also another man that came in with his son, who didnāt have an appointment and they took him before us, after we were waiting for quite a while. The barber who took this guy, was the same barber (closest to the door) who said it would be a wait since we didnāt have an appointment and that barber knew we were waiting. Iām not sure what is going on with this barbershop, but apparently people these 2 barbers know that walk in without a appointment, get taken care of first and 2 people that they donāt know like us that walk in, have to wait for over a hour. Itās a disappointing experience and felt disregarded, so we will go to Chads barbershop, or another barber next time. If youāre going to make people wait that long who walk in for a haircut, then put a sign on your door and your website, that says by appointment only and no walkins. I guess the loss of revenue of $60.00 or more for 2 haircuts, doesnāt seeem to phase this barbershop and thatās the impression I got, is they donāt seem to care. If anyone ever ask about this business, I will not be referring them to your establishment and thereās a lot of people I work with, in the government offices here in Morgantown. When you have people that walk in with no appointment, donāt just tell them it will be a wait, give them some kind of timeframe and therefore they can make a decision, if they want to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot only is he amazing at what he does--it was like I had known him forever; such a laid back person, always smiling & the positive vibes he gave ([which is unfortunately too rare to find in any business owner anymore]) .. he makes each and every one of his customers feel right at home. He is the perfect example of what almost every other business owner in the area SHOULD be but is NOT !! I believe if they were to take notes.. other establishments wouldn't open and close within a year or less. I frequented this establishment (around when they first opened) as an everyday tanning bed customer.. I soon realized they had; not only the most upbeat & positive staff and awesome tanning bed/s but crazy good deals on their monthly packages.. the cheapest around ! From the first day I met the owner when I walked in to check out this place.. I could tell he was going to succeed and of course, I wanted to help & being a student at FSU.. I did what I could.. took business flyers for the next few weeks or so.. handing them out to any and every person on campus & finished by putting them on students cars parked all over. I felt like other people would get the same positive experience(s) I had when...
Ā Ā Ā Read more$45 for the most basic of hair cuts and thatās not including tip!! No wash, no styling/product- shop is disorganized, and itās obvious sanitation is not high on the to-do list. He did however make me laugh when he was making fun of a client and his mother as they were about to walk in the doorā¦.. then I realizedā¦. He probably says the same stuff about me as I come in. I honestly hate to right this review because heās the best barber in Fairmont in my opinion but with all these factors combined I personally will not go back and Iām sure that he...
