Kent's Supply Center — Local services in Fallon

I like the people at Kent's, everyone is friendly and helpful. I choose to go here because it's in town and a little more convenient than driving an hour or more to get what I need, even though it's cheaper to go to Reno or Fernley. There's 2 things I don't like:

1. not much of the lumber is covered, so when you go to buy 2x4's you end up digging through half a pallet for just a couple of good boards.
2. it's pretty expensive. So when I have to buy a lot of wood, like for the wood fence I'm going to put up on my property. I'll actually go to Fernley and save...

Kent's has been servicing the City of Fallon and the surrounding area for 125 years, the oldest retailer in Nevada. They are a do-it-yourselfers paradise. They have almost everything you need to build a house or do yearly repairs. Karla, the owner, has spent her life dedicated to her customers and the community. She is one of the most knowledgeable people in the Lumber industry. Karla and the Kent's Supply family are always there to help with whatever you may need.

I want to take a minute to say that buying local in this day and age is hard to do. I want to send a thank you to Karla and the staff at Kents for doing everything they can to meet or exceed the big box stores on major purchases. All things weighed they have tried to meet the prices and when it is just out of reach they are the first to say so. They have been more than willing to go a little further and at least try.
