The Grain Designs (GD) Team is a wonderful group of professional wood & metal craftsmen ready to create a piece of furniture or accent piece you will love. Our relationship started when we asked GD if they would make window trim pieces for our new home from reclaimed wood. They said, "Sure!" and met with us to create the right sizes, stain and finish to blend perfectly with other wood in our home. Since then, GD has designed and built beautifully made, custom and functional pieces of furniture from reclaimed wood for our home, including a kitchen table with matching bench, a barn door, accent wall mantle and trim for our fireplace. We are currently working with them to create a matching buffet for our kitchen table....we can't wait to see the result. My wife and I had a vision for a barn door that we wanted to salvage from our family farm and make it a centerpiece in our new home to preserve a bit of our family history. Grain Designs showed us they cared about making it how we envisioned and took it to the next level. We couldn’t be happier with the end result of something we will be able to cherish for many years to come.

I also want to add that there was a very minor hiccup at the end of the project with the door opening size. You can tell a lot about the character of a company when they are committed to making it right and ensuring you are happy in the end.
