Full review of “Slim Chicken” Fargo, ND (September 10, 3:20 PM)
My best friend and I walked into the establishment at first glance it was very clean. ( besides the flies 🪰 greeting you every which way)
The employee at the cash register seemed to be distracted doing a multitude of other things and in passing asked us if were we ready to order.
This came off as a brush like we were bothering her.
This was our first time here and was still looking at the menu on the wall.
I ordered the LARGE MAC & CHEESE 🥣 with a side of fries 🍟 while my best friend ordered a crispy chicken meal combo 🍔, and we both ordered drinks 🥤.
My friend got his meal at least 15 mins before I did, IDK I think it's rude to not bring both meals at the same time…
The waiter initially gave me the meal and I pushed it to my friend and told the waiter what I ordered.
When my meal did come everything, I had was not even room temp or just plain cold
Especially my mac & cheese.
A few minutes later a different waitress came to our table and sat down another crispy chicken in front of me. I said a good four times I did not order this, but they insisted on me having it.
Confused, I double-checked my receipt. And NO extra sandwich was ordered. there was still no explanation for why I received an extra sandwich, and odds are I probably got someone else's meal, unfortunately.
Besides the constant interruption of the overly crowded place, we were in awe with how clean a spotless ✨ the place was because of all staff continually cleaning tables but there was a swarm of pesky flies 🪰 EVERYWHERE.
Trying to enjoy our cold 🧊 food we were continuously fanning and swatting flies away without any success.
They were everywhere and landed on and in our food.
As this was going on we heard many other customers complain about how the service sucked, the food is cold, and the flies.
I feel sorry because they have only been open one month and a half and I am not sure if they did a soft opening but I think if they did it would have helped many of the problems I have seen.
Again, their only saving grace at least to me was how CLEAN it was and they were diligent in this, even though the flies were terrible.
Saying all of this. This go around I give them 2 out of 5 stars but I know they can do better 💜💜🖤🖤🖤

Read moreI try really hard not to loose my cool because I worked food service for a really long time…but I order from you guys literally almost every week. More than half the time I have to call in because I got someone else’s order or am missing things or got the wrong food or it was made incorrectly. If I myself am having this many issues I can only imagine how bad things are over all. For instance, today I ordered a 30$ PAN of Mac n cheese and instead got a side order. Last time I got a completely wrong order because someone put the wrong ticket on the bag. I don’t understand why ordered aren’t being double checked before they are handed out. The whole point of getting something delivered is for convenience, I’m repeatedly finding out that if I want the correct food I have to come to the store myself and go through the entire order in front of someone just to make sure it’s correct. I’ve reached a point where I’d like to file some kind of complaint with either the director of operations or the regional director because obviously just speaking to management at the store isnot doing any good. People need to be either retrained or replaced because this is ridiculous. Once or twice or even every so often I totally get but to routinely have issues due to the stores inability to correctly complete an order is insanity. If my wife was not autistic I would have stopped ordering a long time ago… I do not recommend them…the sole reason being issues with orders. Their food is awesome…when it’s correct. Read moreMy friend and I decided to get slim chickens. We went through the drive through and ordered. The lady on the headset kept saying “what” because she couldn’t hear my friend even though she was speaking very loud. My friend ordered a meal but her food got rang up individually, no big deal, we got it switched. My food got rang in fine. We both paid and then went to the second window. I got my drink (diet coke) it was out as it tasted like water. I then got a new drink that still tasted like water. Got my food but no sign of my friends food. The manager then came to ask us if we really ordered two things and we said yes. We then moved up to the 3rd window as we were told too. Some young girl brings my friend her food and she says she also got a drink. The young girl walks away and mumbles “oh my god” She then comes back and asks to see her receipt and she shows it to her and tells her she ordered a Dr P and honey mustard. The girl slams the window and walks away. She then comes back with a Dr P and no dipping sauce. She slams the window again and leaves. My friend and I spent a total of 30 minutes here waiting for food. Customer service was terrible and the workers were rude. It seemed like they thought it was our fault but it was really on them for forgetfulness, etc....
