With new management, I decided to go back to the Gastropub to see if anything changed. Here's my new thoughts:

• Wait Time - It took a couple minutes to get a table, just because they were busy helping others. The place was relatively busy at this time. • Game play - Decent blue nine-foot Gabriels tables are presented to the left when you walk in. The tables play well and have a good coast time for balls. • In-house Cues & Bridges - In better shape then last time. Bridges were placed near the table, not under. Most of the in-house cues were in good enough shape to play a game with. They could, however, use more cues. It was a struggle to find good ones with an exceptional weight (19-21) and when we did, it wasn't long before someone from another table nabbed it from us. • Wait Staff - Good people who will help you with questions and with placing orders. However, if you don't talk to them, they won't talk to you. • Pro Shop - Not Reviewed • Other games (Cornhole, Darts, Ping-Pong, Pinball, etc.) - Not reviewed. However, the Pinball machines are no longer crammed in a corner and the ping-pong tables were getting a fair amount of use. They seem to be really solid tables for the average players. • Food & Drink - Cheese curds have a bit of a kick to them and their house made pizzas have toppings piled on nicely! A very good selection to choose from. Drinks are served in a timely matter and are made nicely.

Would I recommend this location to a friend? Yes, but for larger groups. For a more intimate game, I would recommend the Moorhead counterpart. Would I visit this place again? Most likely.

So sad to see such a unique place being managed so poorly! Waited over an HOUR for our food with our kids starving. Food came with buns rock hard, so kids couldn’t eat their burgers. One ate half of his on only the top bun, the other ate his fries. Manager REFUSED to take my other son’s UNTOUCHED burger off bill because he ate his $1.50 fries, WITH both meals nearly untouched. This was on top of my gravy being cold, my burger so small in my rye bread that every bite was nearly all bread AND my cheese cardboard melted then cold on it. Further, Manager argued nonstop with me about it and told me that just because I was the customer that didn’t mean I was always right. I was only asking to not have to pay for the untouched burger - not counting all the rest of the mishaps with our other meals! She “would ONLY” take 10% off of our bill, totaling HALF of one burger, and REFUSED to do anything more while telling me “Good luck calling the morning manager because I AM the manager!” And, refusing to tell me who the owners are and when they’re in; only mumbling how they NEVER bother even coming in! One can only conclude that this manager is attempting to shut the business down for personal unemployment benefits. Otherwise, there is NO WAY that ANYONE in customer service should have acted the way she did, MUCH LESS served...

Went here for a date, was very nice quiet great atomosphere. Sat down at a table past the bar, after we ordered our 2 drinks it took roughly 10 minutes to get it, being that the place was empty aside from 1 other table. We put our order in, and sat there with an empty drink for 15 minutes after that, our appetizer came out the same time as our food. We did not order another drink since we could have had another drink 15-20 minutes after waiting the first time, meanwhile the bartender was wondering around and the chef was talking to his buddy. We observed the chef come out of the kitchen, stand and talk to the fry cook as he picked his teeth, wiped his business on his apron and continue to use his cell phone, then make more food. The mac and cheese didnt even have the sriracha in it as the menu said, my burger was extremely well done and fries under cooked. We addressed these to the manager and she didn't even give an apology, instead we got a 1/2 our NEXT appitizer which it was already half of appetizers to night which we got the same time as our meal. It's a shame it's a great atomosphere and place i would like to go again but the service is so bad and the manager was very unprofessional I don't see myself returning...
