I appreciate that the business replied to me. What I don't appreciate, is the assumption and condescending attitude in the response. To clarify, I came in a few months ago to check the salon out, and at the time as I stated in the my review the salon looked as if there was some type of rearranging or remodeling going on during business hours. I found it to be highly unprofessional with how chaotic and messy the salon looked. From the business' response, it becomes obvious that it is an unprofessional environment. This confirms that I made the right choice.
I've been curious to come to this salon since I have heard positive reviews from some of my acquaintances back when it was Wild Style Salon, and I was wanting to change salons anyway so I thought I would go check it out.    Read moreI have been going to this salon for YEARS even back when it was wild style, I loved it when it was wild style, my mother and I used to frequent there a lot. We would always go to different stylists and never had issues, all of them always did great jobs. This was the first time I had came back after it changed to bombshell and all of the older stylists quit. Thatâs okay, my mom and I went to the new stylists and I got a bleach balayage and it was not blended AT ALL it looked like squares of blond blotches on the top of my head, I called and asked to get it fixed and they told me I had to go to the same girl to get it fixed for free, of course I didnât want to go to the same girl again, so I tried to explain to them and the owner told me no and if I went to another one of their stylists I would have to pay full price despite already spending $180 and going here for years. Then my mom went here the same week and the girl completely missed a patch of grey right in the front of her hair (the girl did fix it a few days later) but they booked over her appointment to get it fixed and the girl didnât want to style her hair after the appointment. Each time, the lower part of my hair still turned out yellow instead of icy blonde, and the color coverage was uneven with some areas completely missed. While they did âtry to fix it,â it never met the expectation or matched the tone I asked for.
In the beginning, Maia (the owner) was very communicative, but that changed over time. Before my last scheduled appointment, I confirmed multiple times that I wanted an ice white color. Instead of responding directly, she eventually canceled my appointment without my consent and told me to find another stylist. She also said she would recommend someone who specializes in that tone, but to this day, she has ignored my follow-up messages.
The pricing also wasnât consistent between visits, and overall, the experience left me disappointed and frustrated. I was patient and polite throughout, but I felt dismissed in the end.
Bottom line: inconsistent results, lack of professionalism, and poor communication. I wouldnât recommend this salon if youâre looking for reliable color work or respectful...
