I've been a customer for several months now, with several different interactions to help give me a holistic understanding of the quality of service offered here. The superficial details are simple enough to comment on: clean and straightforward layout of the units, with myriad options to fit what you need, all climate controlled, which is a plus. Multiple entrances make it easy to access your unit regardless of the location within the building. Carts provided and easily accessible. A huge loading bay in the back that fit my enormous Uhaul truck without issue. All of these things, though, are simple enough to manage for any storage company, depending on resources available. What makes this particular location unique is the human aspect, and what the management team has to offer. Professionalism, first and foremost. Clean and presentable in person, respectful and courteous in conversation. Personable and human, despite managing a business, which helps you feel like an actual person and not just a wallet to feed them money. More than willing to help you out if you need it, and easy to talk to in between trips to the unit. Competent enough to help other locations manage their logistics and customer service simultaneously, without a dip in quality for their clients. I have never done this process before. The process of starting over, like all humans, I don’t like unexpected change. Yet, life has a funny way of making sure you learn to embrace it. However, this company especially the lady who helped me identify my unit, has helped me decide that certain package were better than others, the offers were reasonably and affordable. All around making the transition from home & security to storage unit and uncertainty smooth. I came in @ 11:16AM and I left @ 11:49, in that time I was given a thorough walk through, shown 2 units, educated on the best combination of promotional offers based off of my life situation, given keys and a code and taught how to use, navigate and access my belongings.

If you are like me, starting over, having support in unforeseen ways, makes life’s journey a little less lonely and a lot more encouraging. What's not to like about this place? It's clean, the employee's are friendly and professional, It's safe. Well there is one thing. When we moved in we had no intentions of moving out we needed some "Extra Space." Not long after signing on the dotted line and moving our stuff in they raised the price of our storage unit. Once you move everything in you aren't going to move it right back out, so what a great time to increase the price. Although frustrated we decided to stay and pay. Well Once again I got a notice they were raising the price of our storage unit again. In less than a year's time the increase of our storage unit was almost 100%. When I called I was informed they look at rates and availability and make changes like this all the time and increase rates when needed. I was also informed the average time a person rents from Extra Space is six months, I wonder why. You also know they never lower your rates once they have been increased. So if you are happy with constant increases in your storage unit rates and never knowing what you will be paying from one month to the next this is the place to be. I feel it is dishonest and fraudulent and I don't do business with companies like this. I would never consider renting a storage unit...
