As the only customer in the Starbucks, I walked up to the register with a simple request. Do you had an individually wrapped Lemon Loaf cake? She looked right at me and said yes. I got a dried out unwrapped cake in a bag, that was picked up with her fingers from the counter across from the register. I was holding two bags of groceries so my thought was not to mention the fingers, because it’s in its wrapper.(right?) I paid and asked if she would sit it in my grocery bag. I got home to find a stale unwrapped loaf cake in the Starbucks paper sack. Extremely disappointed in this Starbucks. I know that loaf cakes come individually wrapped to Starbucks. There actually should not be a need to request that it is wrapped, however, I state a wrapped loaf in my order just to be sure that they do not ever open it. I do not understand why an unwrapped loaf cake would be sitting on a tray underneath the back counter. I have tried reaching out to the phone number listed for that location. I never get an answer.
