If you weren’t lying to yourself when you gave Changs a five star rating then you have either lost your taste or have no experience with anything but Banquet TV dinners. I ordered he orange chicken combination dinner plate. There were orange peels in it to verify that; yes, this was supposed to be what I ordered. Apart from the very bitter taste that I can’t quite identify, the only other identifiable flavor was an overwhelming presence of celery. Apart from the these two unwelcome flavors, it was rather absent of any compelling flavor. The ham fried rice, was just that, ham and rice. Wasn’t unpleasant, but was nothing to write home about. It really was just an over the top serving of flavorless filler. My meal came with crab cheese wontons which happened to be quite good. The egg roll included also good. The giant fried shrimp, unfortunately was incredibly undercooked and therefore very soft and mushy, seemed as though it were raw or old. The soup; something I would hope you could master, was in fact more gravy than soup. This egg drop soup had the consistency of incredibly thick gravy, very unpleasant and sickening to swallow. For a price of 12.99, this was an incredible disappointment. The only items I finished were the crab cheese wontons and the egg roll. The rest of this overly portioned plate will more than likely make its way to the trash. I would stick with one star, but will give the second only for the sake of the portion size which would make it possible for not one but two people to suffer though...

I was getting a haircut at the Great Clips next door and conveniently ordered a couple of lunch specials. Up front, they were very kind and good customer service which warranted 2 instead of 1 star. I got the lemon chicken and cashew chicken. I was very disappointed with both for a couple of good reasons. First the cashew chicken although cooked well, it was literally thin sliced cooked chicken with a bit of sauce over it. It didn't have very good flavor although I will admit that the vegetables and cashews were good. The spring roll that comes with is pretty good but the rice flavor was poor and didn't seem very good. What was most upsetting and I wished I had checked before leaving the restaurant was that my wife found two strands of hair in her food and could not eat the food after that. my wife's hair is blonde and the hair found in the food was black so she knew it wasn't her hair. For the lemon chicken, I ordered it to go and although I only live 5 minutes away that was enough time for the breading to become soggy so I can't say how good of quality the breading actually is. The chicken was overcooked and was unpleasant. Given that the price compared to others is much higher , even though they do cook with no MSG (which is great), I don't think I would be able to make a return trip here. I'd give them zero stars if I could!!!!! I placed an order to go, we live in Mt Green but my husband was going to p/u on his way home since he was in SLC that day. They forgot an appetizer so when I called and explained that we weren't close enough to go get it, the man on the phone said that not only would he credit us the crab wantons but the entrée as well. He took down my name and said I just needed to let them know when ordering and they'd have what I ordered for replacement. I went back today right when they opened, the lady didn't have any info on me, I felt like she thought I was lying trying to get a free meal or something. I explained what happened and what the guy on the phone said about my order. She kept repeating that they had missed the crab wantons and I was just wanting crab wantons. I explained that I was told my meal of one entrée and an order old crab wantons were what I was told was going to be replaced. She just kept on with the crab wantons so I said, "sure, whatever". The wantons and the sauce tasted terrible! Needless to say, I will NEVER go back!!!! Terrible...
