THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I bought a mirror a couple weeks ago and when I opened the box it was broken. In Burlingtonās policy it says that we have 30 days to return an item, it says on the receipt, you guys say it on the microphone, and itās written under YOUR policy website so first I want to call out over the associate who isnāt trained enough because she kept telling me that āsorry, you canāt return the item bc my store manager saysā¦ā the store manager isnāt the owner to begin with, I want you to show the policy where it says that mirrors can only be return the same day (then I would understand), but apparently she isnāt trained enough to solve the problem cause I had to return THE NEXT DAY along with my sister to directly talk with the store manager who was even talking with attitude; she asks for the receipt and says āwe can just give you store credit cuz itās past the return dateā IT WAS NOT we still had till the 26th, and my sister pointed that out, so the store manger had the nerve to sight and say āfineā. This whole situation left me so disappointed and somewhat discriminated, because if they ended up returning my money, why not from the beginning? why did I have to bring my older sister and father to speak for me? I donāt look mature enough so your employees thought they could left me for dumb? Well no, Burlington needs to train their employees better, plus the store manager never apologized for the situation, and when my sister asked why did we have to go through all this if she was gonna give me my money anyway, she just left. I have been to this Farmington store at least 10 times, was so excited when they moved in, loved the other location in Bloomfield but it was far. This store has awful service, every time I shop in the store there is always a long line 90% of the time thereās only two registers open and they donāt care how many people are standing in line, people at the register donāt care how slow they do their work. Iāve seen 3 people come in mad because the cashier forgot to remove the safety tag that has to be removed with a special device, people were not happy they had to come all the way back, cashier didnāt even apologize. I also thought the clothe quality would be similar to Mashals but itās not. Iāve had to return most of the clothe Iāve bought do to it falling apart, zippers and such. The elastic in my sons shorts fell apart after 2 washes. Today I tried again cause my daughter needed a dress, dressing room area is full on pills of dust over doors, looks gross. Lines very long again 15 people waiting 2 cashier. Another cashier hanging clothes up on rack behind cashiers. Went next-door to T.J. Maxx to get a dress about 15 people in line 5 registers open took no time at all to get through with smiles and pleasant greetings. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would like to express my experience at Burlington stores in Farmington ct by the West farms mall I have never encountered such disrespect by a manager Isabella she was very unprofessional and in my opinion a racist towards black and Hispanic people her words were very harsh and she was very disrespectful to me I will never shop at Burlington coat factory near West farms mall again due to Isabella the store manager made me feel less than watching me and her cruel remarks as if I were being profiled as one one of my many experiences abd encounters in the store she is clearly not fit to be a manager she was caught and viewed being very rude to one if her workers in the front located by the door area talking to him and treating him as if he was her child she clearly embarrassed him and showed no respect for him as an employee of Burlington stores
I would definitely think twice before I shop at Burlington stores with a prejudice and unprofessional person as she was to many people I seen on many occasions
