I know restaurants & retailers have been the most affected by the serious decline of customers since Covid started but what this company is doing now is down right stealing from the consumer! After placing an order online, I arrive to pick it up and I’m told that they didn’t receive my order and then they stopped responding and closed 15min later. I reported it on the app and thankfully I received a refund but this would be the only time. The next time I placed an order and arrived to pick it up, I’m told they’re out of hamburger, refused to make substitutions, and said I had to cancel my order but this time customer service refused to refund me, saying that they refunded me last time! I continued to ask why would I be able to order something that wasn’t available and still be charged for it which she confirmed that they can’t update the app and went on to say it’s the number one complaint, avoiding to answer why I’d still be charged for it! A few months later I had received a promo code for a free ice cream and I thought there’s no possible way I could have another issue but boy was I wrong…………. I know, I know, I’m right there with you, how could I be so naive and fall for it again? Well to be honest I didn’t realize how often BK is open with no food to sell but that was the case tonight, I showed up for my order and was told they have soda and cookies but that’s it! I reported it on the app but already know that it’s not likely that I’ll be refunded so once I get that email from customer service, I’ll send them to my cc company when disputing the charges… I’ll post an update but pls beware and if you do go to BK...
Read moreAfter a day of perusing the Westfarms Mall, Burger King sounded really good. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker and placed my order at 8:34pm on 9/6/23. I could tell the man taking my order either had a really bad attitude or was terribly overwhelmed. Possibly due to the amount of work he had to do. Nevertheless, during our interaction at the speaker, he was very persistent and sort of demanding (as far as me telling him what I wanted). I overlooked it considering the time of day and his current situation. We got to the pickup window, he handed me the food, and everything went as normal as it usually does. Before driving out of the parking lot, I checked my bag and noticed that I did not receive a large fry I ordered separately. On the receipt, the man at the speaker put it in as onion rings which was not correct. However, I went inside and tried to explain to him what had happened. He was very skeptical, his demeanor and tone of voice was not appealing whatsoever, and the overall atmosphere was very uninviting/not friendly at all. After a few moments of deliberating with the man, he did give me the large fry I ordered but did not receive at the window. When he handed it to me, it was quite forceful. Even a few fries fell out of the container and onto the floor. The two customers inside witnessed the entire interaction and even one of them told me to "have a good night". Possibly due to him over seeing how the employee was treating me. I left abruptly and unsatisfied with the customer experience I received. As a first impression, it was horrible. I will not be returning to this location...
Read moreI've been here the last 3 times and I've got nothing but wrong orders through the drive through and attitude from the new employees. 3rd time was the last straw which is why I'll never decide to order from anything there again because there were these 2 girls laughing over the intercome and not paying attention when I was giving my order. All I wanted was a simple whopper with a large combo meal but they couldn't get that right either. When I went inside to confront them, 2 of them(both heavy with glasses) gave me the smuggest look I'd ever seen. One of them who I assume was taking my order, pretended like she didn't but I knew it was her by the sound of her voice. Luckily one older lady with blonde hair fixed my order but she had the most annoyed look on her face. Can't say I blame her, I'd probably be too if I worked there now. Glad to see I'm not the only one who's had problems with this Burger King. My friend went out to get some burgers for us last month with coupons and they ended up messing up our orders anyway. Haven't been there myself for a year now and don't intend to go back ever. It's a shame really, I used to go to this Burger King all the time since high school but they clearly don't care about their business anymore so why should I?
I go to McDonald's now when I feel like something from the dollar menu because even though the burgers aren't as good, I still prefer their fries and McNuggets but most importantly, I prefer their customer service instead. At least they don't give me a hard time when I kindly tell them they made a mistake...
