Not knowledgeable not accountable avoid this store Went to order a bed and foundation wanted to think about it- the sales associate Maria told me that it would be tricky to open the card online and have her order if I wanted rewards - I wanted finance so she said should be fine - opened online when I called her she said there is no way to place the order I had to come in fine- went in 45 min away - she placed the order then I get a call she says when she went back into double check it was on finance there was “ a glitch “ and it somehow was switched to rewards says she can’t change it gave me capital one info - after being non the phone for an hour turns out they cannot fix it and what’s done is done .. pottery barn corporate also informed me there is no way to change that function so Maria clicked on the wrong option and lied about it .. now I cancelled my order because no one could change it to finance option.. Called the store was told the manager is not available call back .. I will either order from corporate or the mattress company direct never again will I go here … a simple accountability for multiple mistakes goes...
Read moreDon’t bother!! Find somewhere to shop local we are the business owners can actually stand behind the products they sell. Pottery barn is simply more convenient, but it’s not worth the time and energy, and certainly not worth giving them your business.
Customer service is horrendous both on phone and in person. I bought a number of expensive frames from Pottery Barn for Christmas, one of them came damaged with scratches all over the glass – since I was outside the 30 day window by the time I got to the store they basically told me to pound sand, and there’s nothing they could or would do because of their 30 day “policy“.
At the end of the day, they sold me an expensive damage product and it was a large inconvenience to me with a newborn and at the holiday time to get anywhere in person to return the product. It is unbelievable to me that they are then able to sell damaged goods and do nothing to make it right...
Read moreI purchased a bed in June of 2023. I then purchased a mattress separately. My bed size was standard king. My mattress also standard king. Problem is the mattress is so tight from top to bottom that not even a sheet fits in between them. My sheets fall off every night because they are not on properly. I called customer service and spoke with Carla. She told me since I didn’t buy my mattress from pottery barn, she can’t help me. I tried to explain it is a standard 80 inch mattress. She interrupted me and said “ mam, I don’t know anything about that mattress and it’s not our product. We can’t help you”. She also called me rude for being persistent. Pottery Barn never said I need to buy their mattress. Some people use there own. It should fit. I’m out of luck. Bed was very expensive. I won’t be...
