If I could put zero stars I would. They claim that the apartments and facilities are no smoking yet, there are tenants smoking weed and cigarettes - causing health issues for my family as the smoke and smell was coming into my apartment. After multiple attempts to get this resolved we were told there was ānothing they could do.ā
We decided to move out due to health reason and management finally decides to offer to move us to another place - why didnāt they offer this after the first, second or even 5th complaint made?
We also had water damage due to the drainage in the utility closet not being properly installed, they left our closet and kitchen without baseboards (they had to remove them due to water damage)
Donāt let managment lie to you - they donāt care about their tenants, they only care about collecting rent. There is another post from about 6 months ago I saw on here that I completely agree with. They are inflating their reviews with 5 stars - which is not the truth at all. Gates donāt work half of the time, if you use Instacart or DoorDash, good luck with getting them in the gate unless someone else is leaving or another tenant is arriving to open the gate for them. (Entry pad works half of the time). WiFi is spotty and goes out frequently, trash is picked up randomly - but we are expected to bring the trash back in or take it myself. If I am required to pay for a service, then I expect to get that service on the days per the contract.
If you like to smell or see dog poop, then this is the perfect place for you. Tenants let their dogs out without leashes to use the bathroom and donāt clean up after them. Same goes inside their dog park. Their dog wash facility is disgusting, tried to use the blow dryer and got covered in hair after other tenants leave their dogās hair and messes.

To your first reply of being offered several solutions, Iād like to give your management team a chance to show you when they made the offer. It wasnāt until after every complaint that was made AND when we put in our notice to move out. Only then, were we given an option to move to another apartment or another community all the way in Garland. Had we been given the option during our complaints or even when Stephanie came by our apartment after several complaints - we would have taken the opportunity or worked on another solution. For you to tell me that we were given options and did not accept is a complete and total lie.
In response to the missing baseboards that were removed by your new maintenance team due to water damage caused by your utility room, and had a fan placed in the closet to try and prevent mold, they came back and got their fan and told me they were coming back to replace the boards - I waited all day and they never came back.
To your last comment of taking residents concerns seriously, the management office and courtesy officer told us there was nothing they could do about it. Which goes against the comment of being offered options. We also never received any communication back from all of the cigarette butts in our yard - I have the email and photos as...

It is 530p as I am writing this review. Trash should be out between 6-8p AT THEIR OWN DOOR NOT NEXT TO MINE AT THE END OF THE HALLWAY. Im so so SICK of this disgusting sight. It stinks next to my apartment due to the trash build up. Not to mention the bugs that this disgusting sight is putting my apartment at risk for. There is always some sort of trash around on the stairway or at this corner NEXT TO MY APARTMENT. I have told the office and was instructed to see if I can see who is doing it and watch what apartment they are going into then report them. WOW. It is not my responsibility to get to the bottom of this. I definitely WILL NOT be renewing. HUGE mistake. There are quite a few things that I have informed them on and nothing gets done. If I had it to do over I definitely would not have chosen Prose Eastgate. Good luck if you move here. Iām sure I will get some generic response but what is the point of calling and reporting AGAIN a previously reported complaint that went nowhere?
Last small trash bag pic, the bag was there for well over a week. Someone moved it further into the corner then it was conveniently removed just before their corporate inspection. Idk if someone blows the breezeways with a blower or what because Iām noticing an accumulation of dirt and other blown crap around my door at times, all of the sudden. Surprisingly, apts in Forney were much cleaner. They had someone cleaning the hallways daily.
Deliveries are being stolen here as well. The list keeps increasing. I will have to deliver elsewhere and pickup apparently. Saddest part is Iām not surprised, the quality of this place is diminishing more and more in my eyes. I canāt be the only one with so many issues. I wish more of the 1 stars would describe their awful experiences. Looking forward to leaving, might have to break my lease if it gets much worse.
Update on the package: found opened under stairs on the bottom floor, unreachable and I wouldnāt touch it anyway. Left vm for office about theft, didnāt receive a return call. Added the picture. Halfway through my lease has me doubting that this will be the last update. Just gotta...

Stephanie that sits in the desk to the right doesnāt even care enough to let the tenants FULLY explain themselves before she gets defensive and walks away!!!! She has a great habit of not letting you explain yourself fully and tries to control the conversation. Claims I wouldnāt allow her to leave my apartment after her cutting me off several times and that I stalked her down the breezeway??? An exaggerated truth. I never got in this ladyās way. I gladly let her leave the apartment as I stayed in my living room. Way to pull the privilege card. I never stalled her down a breezeway, I was speaking from my apartment door and have EVERYTHING recorded. Since she is clearly incompetent, we WILL be taking legal action. Pictures attached.
REVIEW 1: Dead crickets everywhere. Gates open whenever the gate remotes feel like working. Back gates broken. Side gate to enter into the complex broken. Trash gets picked up occasionally (not an optional service btw). Wifi CONSTANTLY goes out (also not an optional service). Their suggestion was āgoing to starbucks.ā So what are the remote government workers supposed to do when weāre not supposed to connect to a public wifi?
