Taco Bell — Restaurant in Fate

My experience here was absolutely terrible. I came here with my spouse and he ordered a #4, crunch wrap supreme with no tomatoes and a soft taco meal. Simple enough. We come to the window, pay, and they hand me a completely wrong order, they handed me 4 beef taco supremes. So we tell the guy at the window, its the wrong order and I got a crunch wrap supreme. Immediately he tells us that, that's not what the woman heard who rung up our food. I said okay.. but I ordered a crunch wrap supreme and he is just looking at us like he wont do anything about it and he kept handing us back the bag of food that I did not order. My husband kept repeating "i'm not trying to be an asshole, if the crunch wrap is more expensive, i'll pay the difference" and the employee proceeds to hand us back the original bag of food and a free taco coupon. I said to him that's not what I want, at this point, can I give you guys back this food, and get a refund? Now he tells us he cannot give back refunds. It was the most odd experience, because they were the ones who made the mistake but refused to give me the order I originally wanted and I was more than willing to give all this food back just to get what I wanted. So my husband asked for the manager because what is going on now? Then he opens the window and hands us a crunch wrap supreme, and tells us to have a magical day and closed the window. Strange experience, HORRIBLE customer service. I'm not sure what they thought this was, if they thought we wanted free food or something but we handed them back the food multiple times, and he wouldnt take it? Never...

So I drive for uber eats and go for personal food. The past few times I went to get food for orders I've been ignored by the workers until a manager tells them that someone is in the lobby and that they should see what's up. Last night I had a good manager who actively had their whole team working and not lolly gagging. One time I went and someone was sweeping the lobby and no one was coming up to me and I saw 3 people in the bag. The girl who was sweeping went up, grabbed a random back and placed it in front of me and when I asked if this is my order she goes "maybe" and walked away so I had to look and verify it. Thankfully it was but if that's the way uber drivers are going to be treated when verifying / picking up food then just leave it on the counter under a mobile pick up spot anyway.

Earlier today I went for lunch and when I pulled up to the first window I was getting my money ready since there wasn't anyone in line in front or behind of me and the drive through employee said "Oh my god" and then closed the window. I'm fine if they just close the window and say it behind my back but to say it while I'm there, trying to get the money to pay for their services and for their paycheck basically, keep it to yourself.

In all service is normally terrible, food is decent, and the employees could do with some leadership and some attitude adjustments. Most of them really don't want to do the bare minimum or were even taught basic manners. But they can pack a taco. So I guess they got that...
