I was waiting to write this review because I like the owner of this place. She is a super nice lady however I feel like I need to write this so others might avoid the mistake I made. I wanted a highlights and what I left with was very damaged hair. She over processed them and they become extremely dry. I could not style my hair because more heat would cause even more damage. I had to go to a different hairdresser that my friend recommended and she cut half of my hair and did olaplex treatment. It helped a little for sure but this is not a miracle treatment to fix such a damage. Besides my hair being ruined she told me a different price before doing my hair but charged me more after she was done. Edit: I don't understand the owner response after an one year to my review. The color I received is very vibrant! The layering is done very well, and the salon is well decorated! However, the owner gave me the wrong haircut. I was told my dye and cut would take 2-3 hours, but it took 5. I was ignored while they spoke with other clients; and my ear was brushed and burned a few times. I went to stop the lady when she started to mess up my haircut, but she told me to stop moving and then started talking to her friend. I eventually got her to fix what we could, but she would not make some adjustments which was strange. Additionally, although I asked about the charge up front, I was charged $120. The cost breakdown was $65 for highlights, 20$ for the cut, and $20 for a blow dry which I did not ask for. At the counter, they have a sign that says "5$ off if you leave a review." I have been going to Jenny’s salon for a few years now and she’s amazing! She fixed my hair from a previous hair job someone else did that completely ruined my hair. She has always been very professional super nice, and welcoming to anyone who walks in her salon. I know some people think she takes too long, but the fact of the matter is that she’s only one person and if you’re coming to a salon without an appointment, then you’re going to have to wait. She’s great at working on more than one person at a time and she always delivers! So I rate her salon 5 stars because she deserves everyone of them...
