Long post incoming, but this place is absolutely amazing! I've been dying without real donuts. Let's just be honest, Dunkin and Krispy Kreme out here sell donuts that taste three days old. They're just not good at all. After reading some reviews I convinced my family we were going on a "donut adventure" this morning. We had to drive a little ways but, oh man, it was so worth it. First of all, the shop was cute, people were eating in and they had a little bell to call for someone from the back. That's when I caught this awesome sticker and knew we were in the right place (see pic). Second, they had a wonderful variety of donuts! There were still plenty to choose from and they were making more even though we got there later in the day. We bought a dozen for only four people because we couldn't make up our minds, and there are still more we want to go back and try. Third, they were all really tasty! I created this magnificent Franken-donut to satisfy my curiousity without overdosing on sugar and they were all fantastic. The coffee was really good too, three roasts to choose from, and they had real creamer available in a serve yourself set up. Feather in the cap for me though was the customer service. TOP NOTCH. We asked a bunch of questions cause they have types of donuts I've never seen before. The nice woman behind the counter was patient and didn't try to rush us, even though they were obviously busy. She also offered to ice a donut that just came out for us since there was only one of that kind left in the display. But wait, there's more! My service dog let out a bark when he caught his reflection in their perfect, sparkly clean, reflective donut case. He's fairly big and it was super loud in the little space. This was VERY embarrassing for me, but the employee who was helping us didn't miss a beat. Then I heard someone in the back say something like, "I've just gotta see it" and I was worried a confrontation might be coming, but when she came out she was SO sweet! She just talked to us and complimented my boy as I babbled apologies cause I suck at peopling. If I could give them ten stars I would. We will definitely be back....

This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall joint I'd normally pass by a million times. The name is not attention grabbing or informative. On the inside, you get no impression of what this restaurant serves or what it is about. The drink machine is wrapped up in opaque plastic. You just get the feeling like you should walk out. If the owners care this little about getting customers...it makes you worry about the quality of the food you paid a pretty good price to order...it ain't cheap!
Then, the food comes out and you realize they mean business! This is 5-star food!
The kebabs are out of this world! The grape leaves are divine. The seven spice sauce should be bottled. And, if you mix that with the garlic sauce...OMG! The hummus is on point. Never had a taboule salad with lettuce in it, but it was really good...though a little heavy-handed with the lemon (but that is easy to do). As for the baklava, which can easy be too sweet, this was just the right amount of sweet matched with umptious butteryness.
Back when I did business consulting, this is the type of business that I wished I had for as clients. Having a few ethnic pictures up, a sign expressing they are Mediterranean cuisine, updated tables (redo old tables with cheap mosaic work), etc. are some inexpensive ways to make the front of the house match the quality and feel of the back of the house. Getting the soda fountain fixed and serving fresh tea is a easy way to massively increase the profit margins. A good small business consultant could easily quadruple...
Read moreI like this place, but I don't find it consistent. The first time was stellar. The second time, I ordered the same thing, and did not get any toum or harissa unlike the first time. When I asked about it, I was told they didn't have any. A little disappointing that one of their signature sauces were available. Hope they figure it out because I really enjoyed them.
First visit - BEST falafel I've ever had, and I don't even like falafel. This place changed my mind. It's crispy, crunchy, light, and delightful. If Taste of Jerusalem is a bit bland to you, you will love In & Out Kitchen. The food here is noticeably more flavorful and savory, and the rice here seems to be a fluffier jasmine rice instead of the basamti that's served at ToJ. Pricing for portion size is not as plentiful as ToJ, but the flavor will knock your socks off. The store has a simple cafeteria feel, and is kept clean. Guy working the front does indeed have very striking eyes, and he's very...
