I was here last July 15 2024. This was my first PP lounge experience. I've since been to a few other PP lounges and can say there are better ones out there but they're making do what what they have here. I believe there are only 2 lounges currently at PIT: The American Airlines Admiral's Club and this one. I've been to both.
Based on the reviews it seems as though the experiences can be a little hit or miss. My advice is if they say there's a wait to get in, it might not be worth the fuss. At PIT, if you have the option between Admiral's or The Club, the only reason I'd choose this is if I wanted more free drink options or if I needed a shower. Otherwise the Admiral's has more space about the same level of food and is, in my opinion, a much more relaxing lounge.
For us (there in the early afternoon) the lounge was at capacity and had a waiting list. We didn't wait long but when we were texted in, while the rest of the airport was relatively calm, it was comically crowded in The Club with nowhere but the business center to sit and the AC wasn't working very well towards the bar/bathrooms. It's on the smaller side as far as lounges go and we ended up sitting in the business section (the only area with seats available).
The service is fine, the food is what I'd expect in any baseline airline lounge and I can see they're trying their best with the space available but there's not replacement for displacement and it's narrow in there. When crowded you'll be saying "excuse me" a lot.
This feels more like a placeholder lounge that might (hopefully) change to a better spot when the new construction has finished. If not crowded, I can see this being a much more relaxing place but at capacity I think it's better to be in...
Read moreA pleasant lounge a short walk into the C wing of PIT. One of the only priority pass options, so it's an easy pick for travelers with a premium credit card or otherwise that have a priority pass.
Plenty of seating inside including a partitioned conference room setup, individual lounge chair seating, and bar top/small tables in the bar area. I counted five people total on a Saturday afternoon, but I've been here when it's much busier on Sundays too.
Self-service food style has resumed after COVID with generally one entree, one dessert, a cheese and vegetable board, and some snacks. The food is mediocre, usually pretty bland but a healthy option and can't complain about it being complementary. The bar service is quick and complementary as well (recommend leaving a tip!).
Overall a well placed lounge with easy access to any PIT gate within 5-10 minutes walk. With Pre-Check and luggage, I can get here in under 25 minutes from an Uber dropoff. If you arrive around 1 hour or a bit more from your flight you'd be safe to drop in and grab a quick bite and a drink, depending on how long the...
Read moreThe Club Lounge at PIT is centrally located in the middle of the terminal with easy access to all gates, which makes it convenient before a flight. Check-in with Priority Pass was quick and hassle-free.
The food and drink selection was just average. When you first walk in, there are snack bowls with banana chips, chocolate pretzels, and wasabi peas. Hot items included pierogies and tomato bisque soup, which were a nice touch but not quite enough for a full meal. Desserts were limited to oatmeal raisin cookies and a pudding-style truffle. The salad bar had basic head lettuce with toppings like fatty cold bacon, blue cheese, tomatoes, and onions. Drink options included a soda machine, coffee machine, water, and a full bar.
Seating was mostly occupied during my visit, but I was still able to find a spot without much trouble. Facilities include only three single bathrooms, two of which had showers, which felt a bit limited given the lounge’s size.
Overall, it’s not the best lounge if you’re looking for a proper meal, but it’s fine for light snacks, a drink, or a short break before...
