Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Findlay Township

A little late writing, after reviewing my expenses; reminded about Primanti’s experience on 10/8 when traveling with 5 business associates. I have been to this location before and it has always been ok, nothing exceptional. Convenient stop for something to eat prior to a departing flight. However, the service was over the top on this visit.

On 10/8, arrived earlier than the rest of the group, had a seat at the bar and enjoyed a beverage. I mentioned to the bar tender, that I have 5 other people coming, her, a HIGH ENERGY waitress, and the host had a brief conversation. The waitress came over and said cheerfully, “we have your group covered give me a couple of minutes to clean some tables”. The waitress came and seated me at the table, introduced herself as Amy. Asked what I would be drinking and suggested some seasonal beers and house drinks. Asked Amy if I could go ahead and order drinks for the group, she accepted the order and could not have timed it any better. Amy arrived with our drinks at the same time the group arrived. Requested Amy not to ask if we wanted second round, when glasses getting empty just bring it, she replied, “OK”. Amy pleasantly took our food order, and we were severed quickly with a smile. The restaurant was extremely busy and watching Amy her work ethic is the definition of hustle. Although Amy was extremely busy every time, she came to our table and treated us like we were the only guests in the restaurant, even though she was zooming around taking care of others. Have no doubt in my mind they all were getting the same exemplary service.

My family and I were so excited for our first trip to Disney world! We love our local Primantis near our home, and we knew there was one at the airport so of course me, my hubby, and our two sons decided to stop in before our flight. We thought this was going to be a great way to start our trip, and unfortunately it was everything but that. Our server was Hayley and she was absolutely awful! I never write negative reviews, but I feel as though management needs to really look into the staff they have working for them. She neglected our table the entire time we were dining in, we received our cold food even before she brought us our drinks for starters. She had a negative attitude the entire time, and the table we were sitting at was right next to the register she was using and I heard her mumbling and speaking very inappropriate language with another server, and texting, while saying swear words with my 8 and 10 year old in ear shot. I thought this was a family restaurant? She was also using her phone and everything we asked seemed like an annoyance to her! She made us feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable the entire time we were visiting this location. She rolled her eyes the entire time she was taking our order because I’m gluten free and my son has an allergy and it seemed like we were her biggest inconvenience. I will never ever eat at another Primanti brothers! I’m very sad and honestly hurt because the one by our house is wonderful!! This was not the way I expected the start of our family vacation to go! You want to know what is more refreshing than a Mule in a proper copper cup and a “good effing sandwich”? A server that’s not completely miserable!!! As someone who frequents airport restaurants and late night bar spots looking for food and a spot to get some work done, it’s a rare find. AMY completely made my day with her “Happy Friday” greeting, smile and positive attitude! The food could have been subpar (it wasn’t!) and she would have still made me enjoy my visit to this airport installment of a Pittsburgh staple. I walked in a rookie, being told by my his husband I HAD to find a Primanti Brothers before I left town. I had already selected the Ruben when Amy walked up and confirmed I made the right choice.
