Honestly, this place doesn’t even deserve one star. We slowly walked around the place, not knowing if we sat ourselves or needed to wait to be told where to sit but nobody acknowledged us. So I just walked up to the bar to ask myself. The waiter had some what of an attitude when I asked him where to sit and he told me that “we prefer you sit at the bar”. So the 3 of us sat at the bar exactly where the waiter pointed to sit. After sitting down we were again ignored for about 3 minutes. My mom just grabbed a menu from a seat a few down from us so we could look at it. Then the waiter finally came over and very rudely said “I’m gonna need to see all 3 of your ID’s” to which my mom said “they don’t have their ID’s...” then waiter interrupted her and said “then get back back to the table, you can’t sit at the bar, get back”. To which my mom tried to finish what she was trying to say earlier “even to just get and iced tea or pop?”. The waiter then said “I’ll talk to you at the table, get back”. So we just got up and left. We were being yelled at for sitting at the bar when he told us to sit there when I asked. And he refused to listen when we tried to explain that we weren’t interested in buying alcohol, we just wanted food and plain pop to eat before my boyfriend had to leave for a flight. He was completely rude from the start and had absolute no reason to have an attitude with us. He kind of treated us like dogs when he kept repeating “get back, go back to the table”. Very degrading on his part. Im sure his horrible service loses the place a lot of money, he lost probably around $50 from our order alone. I would have asked to speak to a manager but from what I could gather he seemed like he was the manager. Don’t waste your money here, go...
Read moreThis is the first bad review I’ve ever given about ANY business….but this calls for it. I have advised friends flying in to avoid Martini. The blonde girl who tends bar ( if you could call it that ) is rude beyond belief. I stopped in at this bar shortly before Christmas with my boyfriend. We were in great spirits and wanted to celebrate the start of his new job. We decided to have a couple of drinks while waiting for his flight. We politely ordered two beers from a young woman who appeared to be quite hostile. Regardless of her attitude, I gave a good tip and carried on happy conversation with my boyfriend. We sipped our beers while looking over the drink menu. We finally decided on a couple of Moscow Mules. After it taking FOREVER to get our bartender’s attention, our presence was finally acknowledged. I ( still in polite tone ) asked her for our two chosen drinks. I was completely taken aback by her snide response. She replied to my request by developing a sneering, cocky, sarcastic facial expression and announcing in a very nasty, junior-high-schoolish tone, that “she wasn’t going to serve me because I’d already been drinking.” What? I’d had one beer and was not under the influence of any medications. She then asked if I “wanted my tip back.” I made a comment about her behavior as we gathered our jackets to leave. She then ordered us to leave the bar. I thought it was pretty obvious that’s what we were doing. This woman has no business working a job that involves social interaction of any kind....

I travel out of Pittsburgh International Airport every month and have never felt the need to leave a negative review—until now. During my recent trip, I stopped at the martini bar near the terminal and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered, all due to a bartender named Lisa M.
From the beginning, Lisa was extremely rude and dismissive. She refused to serve us certain items without explanation and made us feel unwelcome from the start. When we finally received our drinks, we were shocked to see she had overcharged us—charging double for items and even charging $1 for a plastic cup of water for my young daughter. Not only was this unreasonable, but she didn’t even offer her a proper glass.
Despite the poor service, I still left a $3 tip out of courtesy. To my surprise and embarrassment, Lisa loudly shouted across the bar, "I should just close. She left me $3!"—in front of other patrons. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but downright humiliating.
I sincerely hope management takes this seriously. Hospitality and respect should be a given in the service industry, especially in an international airport where first impressions matter. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and no customer should be made to feel...
