I know this place is primarily focused on Pokémon and sports card's, but they have a small selection of single issues comic books aswell. The only problem is that, I'm not sure they know how to price single issue comic books, a marvel issue from 2015 isn't going to be worth 10 or 15 dollars anywhere else. Single issue comics like the ones here, not noteworthy, not keys, not first appearances, just random filler issues from the 80s to present day are typically priced pretty close to the value assigned on the cover. They're basically charging 15 bucks for filler issues of books nobody really collects that only have a value of 4 or 5 dollars Maximum for 15 dollars. I might buy a lot of them if they were priced accurately and not inflated. Because nobody who knows comics would charge 15 dollars for one issue of a book nobody collects from the 90s which has no value. Again not leaving them a bad review because they're not a comic store but just so they can read it and possibly adjust their pricing so passersby might actually buy the same comics they've had since they started...
Read moreOver just a negative and confusing experience I've been to the location 3 times. First time I got some singles and I was happy with the cards. But it definitely seemed like the employee didn't think I knew anything which is fine if he doesn't know me but weird. 2nd time I went to go look at more singles and I believe to be the store owner a man named Marcus kept insisting I would go to his magic night the day after. Even after I told him I already planned with a different shop at the exact same time but his lasted longer. 3rd time I went was the night after to try and play a game of magic after I planned with my normal group same guy told me where people were playing. But everyone was playing a big planned tournament and no one that I asked there which was a good amount, that everyone was there for a planned tournament. So Marcus seemed to really want me to go to a magic night the next day and I went and literally no one was gonna play with me. Just a big...
Read moreStopped in to check it out, but honestly it wasn’t really my thing. The shop is mostly card games and collectibles, which just isn’t what I’m into, so it felt kind of boring for me. The place seemed fine for people who are into that stuff though, so I’ll give it 3 stars. Lots of Pokémon stuff. Also had funko pops. Crazy prices for some of the Pokémon cards, but again, im not into that stuff so maybe that's the normal price. One of them was 700 bucks. The employees also didn't speak. The MRC Card Shop employee was more welcoming than...
