My fiancé wanted to get married in his hometown. I had no problem with that. We live 7 hours away on the Iowa/Illinois border. Planning a wedding that far away was stressful. After I found Journey Salon and spoke with Alaina, I knew I found the perfect salon for my bridal party. Alaina made everything so easy for setting up the appointments and made sure that we would be there all at the same time. Another selling point was that can cater in brunch. My stylist Courtney was absolutely fantastic and kind. We did a trial back in May and we wouldn’t be back until the week of our Wedding in September. I have been to other Salon/Spa's and Journey Salon & Day Spa beats them all hands down. Journey treats you like your a part of the family. It is a verybearm and welcimunh atmosphere. I enjoyed a 60 minute massage with Regina and I can say it was the most relaxing experience. Jamie did a phenomenal job on my manicure and we talked like we had been friends forever. The pedicure I received from Kelly was just as wonderful and so was the conversation! They made me feel like we had all been friends forever! I absolutely love the service and attention you get from everyone at this salon. HOWEVER it saddens me I will not be going back to journeys salon and day spa. I always loved the way Kimberly cut my hair when I first got home but when it was time for ME to style my hair I was in near tears. Sure it's a stylish cut but one that I DID NOT ASK FOR OR WANT. I gave her A FEW tries with telling the difficulty I have and I showed her the areas but each time I came out with the SAME HAIRCUT! So another 5 to 6 weeks of struggling.
