We loved this place. Right off the bat our son was impressed with a "My Size" bathroom where he could "Do it myself" as most four-year-olds want to do.
Pricing was great an excellent idea for the customer and the business to bill by the hour. Most kids in this age range will not last long in one thing or parents have limited time but can spend an hour playing with your kid in a sand pit. Options were available for you to add time if needed.
Kids loved it and you know it when you say it's time to go and each child has the same response the pitiful "Ahhhh" because they don't want to stop playing. I loved playing with my boy in the sand. I then tagged my wife in as really only one parent should be in the sand at a time so there is more room for the kids to play and run around. Our son made new friends and the other parents there at our time were friendly and talked with us.
We drove from Muncie to go play there and it was well worth the drive and multiple "are we there yets". We highly recommend Dig Dig to other parents looking to let your kids...
Read moreThis place is amazing! There are so many fun sand trucks and sand toys for kids to play with and everything was so clean and well-maintained! The staff is so professional, kind, and helpful! There were tables for family members to sit while the kids played. They even have AMAZING coffee that a staff member made just for me. I like fancy coffee, and I was SUPER impressed that it tasted just like my expensive coffee from home! I was able to sip my coffee and watch my kids play, it was so nice! They have a big sandbox in their main room that is for everyone and then a separate room with a sandbox for parties that also had lots of fun sand toys. This separate room is perfect for a kids birthday party! In addition to this, they also had a quieter sensory room for kids that can’t handle the louder noise of the main sandbox. You can tell there was so much thought that went into building this place and all kids have a place that is perfect for them to play and...
Read moremy five year old loves this place!!! he says it's his best day ever! it helps him be calm. I will come back because he loves it soooo much.... but....
for me... the lighting is really harsh and triggered a migraine right away. I wish it was incandescent or natural light. the LED and florescents are blinding. because this place is such a soothing environment for sensory play, I would recommend lights that will not trigger overstimulation.
and it's pricey. I would love to come regularly but $16 per kid per hour...!!?!?? that's a lot when we can go to the sandbox at founders Park and SAHM Park for free where it smells better, there is natural sunlight, and we can dig for as many hours as we want without having...
