City Barbeque — Restaurant in Fishers

I’m not sure what’s going with City BBQ lately - I’ve been coming here for years and for years they have been amazing both in customer service and the food .It even seemed like they prided themselves on it ,however lately it has been abysmal . The customer service has plummeted and it only has plummeted with respect to two female managers there. The rudest is the one that wears the hat - yelling at customers ,telling them how wrong they are when they order their food or the way they order their food and then refusing to accommodate them when they order it . It’s equally frustrating when you have a disease and you have to have something a special way and she refuses to give it to you . Also insulting when you ask for something as simple as the tender part of the brisket ,and she states it all the same and there is no such thing . You’re either being lazy ,intentionally rude or just incompetent of you've worked there for 5 years at a BBQ place and don’t know that there is a tender part of the brisket . Either way the horrible customer service by this female manager is appalling and she should not ever be customer facing . As I said the food is amazing ,but whoever is allowing these individuals to be customer facing has made a huge error . Just but contrast she is the head adult in the room , the other high schoolers and young kids working there set a better example of being polite and providing exceptional customer service. This is the 3rd local BBQ we have tried since moving here. City Barbecue was AMAZING & in a 'League of it's Own!', tender, delicious and that smoky exterior goodness throughout in the brisket and the pulled pork. There were no chunks of fat in the sandwich, it was lean and juicy. The chicken tenders were delicious too, also tender white meat. The 3 brisket taqos were fun, but very small for my teen as a meal. She had a fresh lemonade and there's pulp inside! The fries are unique & fried to a dark golden brown, not coated. Everything was hot & so crisp. Our hushpuppy order was the last sitting out and not so fresh from the fryer so they offered a fresh order too when they came up without asking. My daughter & I loved them and they were small and crispy, bite sized. The sauces? I think there are 5? I liked the original, & he liked the brush fire. I already decided, next time I'm trying the 'more cow-bell' with the horseradish and maybe a dessert? I can't wait. But the parking? Oh my...there's none & no drive-thru. You have to be patient, but it's worth it. The line moves incredibly fast and there's extra seating on the porch, but it's comfortable. This place totally beats Rackz & Big...

My husband and I came in today and purchased some sausage the food was very good but the customer service was awful I'm from Texas and I'm very friendly but i picked up a container of food i asked her if it was peach cobbler and she said no picked it up threw it in the trash and told me don't touch as if im a child and she shouldn't even speak to anyone as she did me i spoke to a manager he said he would address the problem which I doubt he does i can understand she was preparing someone else food i don't like the way she spoke to me and we are here on a trip the food is good but we won't be back because of her attitude i dindt appreciate it so i hope someone follow up on this worker because I'm upset and even more i know the manager will not say anything and another thing i was with my husband and she addressed him not ne as if I wasn't there poor customer service. If anyone spend money that's going to her paycheck if customers don't come in how does she get paid if she don't want to wait on people of color she need to get out of customer service Thank you and...
