This is Fisher's new Kroger! They moved from across the street. Here are my thoughts.
I’m an Instacart shopper, so I spend more time than I’d like to admit at Krogers across central Indiana. I would rate this location in the upper half of stores I’ve shopped at.
The parking situation is WAY better than their old location, but it’s still not nearly as convenient as their other neighboring locations.
The store itself is incredibly well stocked. It’s much better than other locations. It’s a very large store, so the selections are vast. It’s a split aisle store, just like the Olio location. Some people prefer this; some people don’t, so I just thought I’d throw it in.
I’ve picked up that this location must be a little understaffed. They’re pulling people from other Krogers to work overtime at this location, and because of that, the self-check process can be a bit slower.
The carts are brand new, which is really nice. I hate the old, halfway-broken carts at other stores.
They do have some “interesting” employees, for lack of a better word. Yesterday, I was getting out of my car, and this employee collecting carts pointed at me and aggressively said, “I’m watching you!” I believe he had some sort of disability, but it’s still unsettling.
Overall, I like this new location! I’m sure they’ll fine tune some things in the...

I went to Kroger for a simple transaction, but what I faced was pure disrespect. I asked Nicole, one of the employees, if she knew how to use the coin machine. She confidently said yes, but as soon as she started, it was clear she didn’t have a clue. She fumbled with it like it was her first time using it. Then, without asking, she flipped the coins, completely messing up the transaction.
When I pointed out her mistake, she immediately got defensive and tried to blame me. NOPE! DIDN’T WORK! It was clear her attitude wasn’t just about confusion—it felt targeted. She would not have treated me the same way if I wasn’t Black. Better be lucky I was not in the mood to respond in the same manner!
To make matters worse, when I went to the customer service counter for help, the employee there acted as if I was bothering her just by asking a question. She looked tired and washed u. She couldn’t care less about helping me. But SHE chose to work at Kroger. If you don’t want to do your job, then get another one! If you can.

Read moreDecided to shop at this beautiful new store to give the 71st/Binford location a break lol. First impression is that it's very clean, bright and very well stocked! Of course, you can't miss Starbucks when you walk in, which has a very modern design to it. The wine and spirits area is also well stocked with a nice variety. The dairy section was extremely well stocked also but for some reason, I was unable to find yogurt, which was kinda frustrating. My only issue was at checkout - I used the self-checkout belt and about midway through scanning, it decided to glitch and start bringing items back to me, which is crazy annoying. Finally it said "help is on the way" smh. I told the employee this is a brand new store, what's up with this? Lol. He simply said "it doesn't work". You expect self-checkout to work in a new store🤷🏾♀️ Overall, beautiful, bright, clean store, great selections, awesome...
