Hands down the best place to get meat in the whole city. They pull stuff from their local farm, raised right, and delicious. I'm talking orangey melt-in-your-mouth fat on steaks and appropriately-sized chicken (not those distended water-and-salt stuffed broiler chickens from grocery stores). The bacon is good, the pork is good, the lamb is good; It's just all good. They offer 15% off for veteran's discounts and on Mondays you can get 20% off basically anything frozen. You can custom order. I just can't stress how much better your quality of food will be to eat here. They are also one of the only places here where you can get fresh-caught fish from all over the world. The fish selection is smaller than an actual fishmongers, but we're not talking about frozen chain store cod with cornmeal. By the time my discount hits, or if I buy on specific dates, I get meat for the same-ish price as the "organic" stuff from the chain stores but that tastes infinitely better. We get all of our meat at Moody's, I absolutely love them. The difference in taste between their meat and grocery store meat is astronomical. It's always fresh and looks bright and healthy. They also have raw bones for my dogs!! Customer service is great and they also have lots of other local and artisanal products, including farm fresh eggs! The eggs are twice as big as any other eggs I've ever bought, including organic free range eggs from the grocery store. And the yolks are a darker orange-yellow than regular eggs. You can just tell that all the chickens that made them eat well! I love knowing exactly what farm the meat comes and that the animals were treated well, instead of living in the horrific conditions of factory slaughterhouses. I am just so happy to have a local butcher like them, idk what I would do...

Have to give one star for this butcher shop due to one of the worst customer experiences I have had. We were there to pickup some nice steaks for grilling. Looked over the seafood and it looked very good. They had some good looking grouper. The steaks looked good but the selection was below average for a butcher shop. Bought 4 filet mignon steaks that were reasonably priced at $29.99 per pound. The woman that waited on us was horrible. Was not helpful at all as we were trying to pick out our steaks. Was throwing the filets on and off the scale. Truly acted like she hated to be there and hated to help customers. I wanted to walk out without buying anything but did not have any...
