Pizza King — Restaurant in Fishers

When this location first opened, it was a train wreck. Barely any sauce on the pizza, slim on the toppings. Tables dirty, service poor & the manager spoke poorly to his employees. For all these reasons, I decided to give them time to work out the kinks and I opted to go back pick up at the Fortville & McCordsville stores. Mind you, the Geist location is about 4 minutes from my home, but I still preferred to drive further - that’s how bad it was.

Fast forward to about 5 months ago, I decided to give this location another shot. I was so happy to see that they had it together. They had new management & new staff. The new manager, Ketra, has turned this store around. The staff is so friendly, the pizzas are fantastic and I’m more than happy to pick it up myself.

When I picked up my order today, I complimented the manager on what a great job they were doing. She was very appreciative and said it would really help if I could leave a review.

So here it is. I grew up on PK & consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of PK. I would encourage you to give this location another shot if you had been unhappy with it in the past. You’ll be glad you did....

If you're from the Muncie area then you need Pizza King in your life, and this new Geist location hits the spot! Dining in the service is always great, and carry out service or delivery is usually ridiculously fast.

More than that, though, it's authentic Pizza King. There are some franchises out there that don't do things quite the same as the Muncie restaurants, but this is the real deal right down to the phones you order from if you're dining in.

This place has become a regular stop for our family and some other friends who grew up in the Muncie area, and it's wonderful having a new location in Fishers.

There were some growing pains when they were first getting started with orders not quite right, as you might've seen in other reviews, but that's to be expected when a place is starting out. More importantly, if anything was messed up they always made it right. The longer they've been in business the better they've gotten about consistency, so I'm not sure how much those old reviews apply now that they've hit a groove.

This is a definite recommend if you love pizza or crave the Pizza King you...

This is perhaps the worst run restaurant I’ve ever been to, and that’s not an exaggeration. I only live a few miles away, so I get carry-out often, and every time I promise to never order from this location again. Not once have I gone there without either having to wait for the order to be ready, or wait for the employees to find the order that has been sitting on top of the oven for the 15 minutes that I’ve been standing there. I’ve tried to use different strategies like giving them an extra 15 min before going there, and ordering via DoorDash to try and bypass the line at the counter (they have a separate counter for DoorDash orders). It doesn’t matter, and just to ensure the entire experience is the most infuriating possible, the owners/managers walk by you countless times without saying a word. In fact, I once stood there for over 30 minutes while they sat at the table chitchatting. Not once did they ask for my name or check on my order. I hate to write a negative review during this time, but they don’t deserve...
