Vintage Spoon Ice Cream Social — Restaurant in Fishers

I have been coming to this ice cream shop religiously for the last year because I moved in to the area, and I have always found it to be a delightful treat. Even though the portions have historically been all over the place, ie. I can order a single and my wife can get a double and they are nearly the same size ... But it's okay because for this area the ice cream has been reliably delish.

But tonight was an education, and as I began to write this review I noticed a consistent theme... There is a young lady with dark brown hair, who is rude, and seems to have an affinity for yelling out "your welcome" ... We meet this person tonight and the rumors are true. This individual needs to be let go, although judging from the comments the manager, might be cut from the same cloth, as I have never seen a snarkier supervisor in the comments. I wonder if it is manager or the owner of the shop who reviews these reviews.

She was helping my wife with her order and when my wife got the ice cream she said thank you... The this young dark brown haired white girl turned around walked to the kitchen and hatefully yelled... your welcome(twice) as if my wife didn't say thank you.

I will resubmit the comments followed by the receipts of my purchase. Unless I am told that this rude and unhinged employee has been fired, I can not go back. She nearly made my wife cry and I will not spend my hard earned dollars in an establishment that does not prioritize service; I will not be treated with such disrespect. Seemed vengeful.

I will also note that when I asked for a manager, one of the young men said, "I'll fire her" jokingly... It wasn't funny... And the other blonde young lady who is always nice and super helpful, said "she's been having a bad day"... From the look of the comments, she's been having a back few months.

As we left I heard her complaining about my wife and so I turned back around and said what are you guys talking about to what she said she's not talking about anything.. I repeated what I heard then she said I didn't say that... And I've never seen you in here anyways...

Is the owner of Crave ice cream social, alright with this behavior? Do they care that this girl is tarnishing their name? I would love a response and an apology. Tonight has changed my opinion of this business, and the comments verifying, that the behavior is not a one off experience, have codified that opinion. The only way to change this fact, is an apology and the knowledge that this lady has been fired.

Honestly I felt like I was in not great section of Indianapolis it seemed quite ghetto, wholly consistent with a place that I would not frequent... this place is...

Confession: I'm Obsessed with Crave Ice Cream Social in Geist!

Hey, friends! I'm about to share a review that's so glowing, you'll think I'm being paid by the scoop (I wish!). But honestly, Crave Ice Cream Social in Geist has ruined me for all other ice cream shops. Like, I'm talking "I'll-never-be-satisfied-with-regular-ice-cream-again" ruined.

The Flavor Game is STRONG

Their unique flavors are like a party in your mouth! I mean, who comes up with stuff like Key Lime Pie, Lemon Poppy Seed, and Strawberry Cheesecake? Genius, that's who! I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake, and let's just say I'm still dreaming about it...

The Staff is SWEET (get it?)

The folks at Crave are friendly, welcoming, and seem to genuinely care about your ice cream experience. I mean, they even offered me a sample of a new flavor they were testing (spoiler alert: it was AMAZING!).

Cozy Vibes and Treats Galore

The shop itself is adorable, with a cute patio area perfect for enjoying your ice cream on a warm day. And don't even get me started on the treats – cookies, ice cream sandwiches, smoothies... they've got it all!

The Verdict: 4.5/5 Scoops

If I'm being picky, my only complaint is that they don't have a "buy-one-get-one-free" deal (just kidding, that's not a real thing... or is it?). Seriously though, Crave Ice Cream Social is a must-visit for anyone in the Geist area. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

so i came into crave at 9:30 (still 30 mins before closing) and as soon as me and my younger siblings walked in they all mean mugged us but we ignored it and were super nice despite their attitude and they kept rushing us as we were just trying to figure out what flavor we would like aggressively asking if we know what we want if we are ready yet and it stressed out the kids! then we ignored their attitude for a second time! we got done checking out and were about to walk out without saying thank you because of their attitudes and aggression then this white girl with black hair and HUGE lashes yelled “YOUR WELCOME HAVE A GOOD DAY” very rudely worst experience ever will NEVER...
