Geist Coffee is a true gem! This family-owned, local business serves up exceptional brews and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
Located in the heart of Geist, Geist Coffee is a must-visit for coffee lovers and anyone looking to support the local community.
The coffee is expertly crafted, with a focus on quality and sustainability. From rich drip coffee to velvety lattes, every sip is a delight.
What truly sets Geist apart, however, is its creativity and attention to detail. They take pride in crafting their own signature syrups, including:
• Homemade vanilla syrup • Spicy ginger syrup • Rosemary syrup
But the real showstopper is their unique drink menu. My absolute favorite is the Naraja Blanco:
• White chocolate and orange zest, perfectly balanced • A dash of cayenne pepper adds a subtle kick • Best enjoyed warmed, but equally delicious iced
The Naraja Blanco is a game-changer. Trust me, you won't find a drink like this anywhere else!
Pros:
• Exceptional coffee quality • Cozy and inviting atmosphere • Friendly and knowledgeable staff • Sustainable practices • Delicious pastries and snacks • Unique, handcrafted syrups • Creative drink menu • Family-owned and operated • Supports local community
Cons: None! Sometimes it gets so busy that the line is outside the door but I would recommend you order online to skip the line and pick it up inside or drive through widow.
Tips:
• Try the Naraja Blanco (trust me!) • Ask the baristas about their signature syrups • Grab a seat by the window for natural light • Support local artisans through their featured artwork • Experiment with warming or icing your drink for a different experience • Bring the family – they'll love it!
By supporting Geist Coffee, you're investing in the local community and helping a family-owned business thrive. That's something to feel good about!

Read moreI could write a book about why I like this place so much. First, the owners kindness is genuine. It's pretty easy to tell when someone is being fake nice and that guy definitely radiates kindness from deep down. No matter what you order or how long you sit with having ordered only one drink, he is happy to serve you. I'm in here weekly and he has been the same way since before I was a regular. In fact, the main reason I am writing this lengthy review is because they are so nice and do such a nice job serving you quality products.
Another thing is the coffee. It is consistently good. I order an extra shot in my cappuccini and at a lot of places that makes the drink very very bitter. The better coffee places with higher quality coffee I've been to the drink is still smooth and a little sweet. This place is one of the places.
Last but not least the food. Ive had the muffins and the salad. I wasn't expecting much when I ordered food here for the first time. Not because the place looks like it wouldn't have good food, but because I thought they would be like most coffee shops that serve food. The salads are made fresh and the chicken isn't that cheap pre-made chicken you get at quick-in places. The lettuce is always green and never wilted. It actually tastes fresh too. The muffin, don't get me started on that. For one the top is always crusted with sugar.... yum. Second, it was like eating a moist cloud. Third, there was whatever the muffin is flavored with in every bite. Now I know the baked goods could be hit or miss each day as far as dryness, but when I've eaten them they have all...

The drive-thru staff were very patient with me and taught me how to use Apple Pay when I realized I forgot my debit card. I waited on my coffee in the parking lot and when a young man walked it out to me, I realized I forgot to ask for almond milk in it, so I circled back around and placed a new order for the same drink, but with almond milk this time (with a different person at the window).
The same guy walked out my second drink and asked if it was a replacement for my first one. I said yes, I was stopping for coffee for someone else and they’re lactose intolerant, but I was so distracted by not having my card, that I forgot to ask for almond milk. He said he would refund the first one for me. I told him not to do that, as I already started drinking it myself (it was really good).
He was so nice and very kind to offer to refund my drink without hesitation, even though the mix-up was entirely my own fault. I’ll...
