I walked into this place for the very first time just to grab a gallon of milk. Since I hadn't ever been in there before I looked for the milk, I found it rather quickly and was moving pretty fast because I was in a hurry but as I turned away from the cooler, this scruffy looking,heavily white bearded homeless looking guy who also looked toothless was literally blocking my path to the register so I moved to the next aisle and looked at some of the things in that aisle, I go to walk to the end of THAT aisle and there is this horrid looking guy again.When he did it the first time I thought, is this guy watching me, or what? I thought ok maybe I'm being paranoid. But then he did it a second time and third time. I moved to 1 more aisle and of course there he came following me and this time I stared right in his face so that he'd be aware that I was onto him. I moved 1 more time but hid behind an end cap so he couldn't see me and I stood there for a minute to see where he was. I was livid my first time in this store and this guy is watching me? What about me made him feel compelled to start following and watching every move I made? I asked what is it, because I'm black ? He admitted yes he was following me and watching me. And says,Ok ok yes I was following and watching you..Every thing is ok? I said, You just lost a brand new customer and I will not be back. If you've never been there I don't recommend ever setting foot in that place and on top of that ,the gallon of milk that I purchased there,leaked everywhere. The cashier looked extremely embarrassed and apologetic. He did not apologize but his voice sounded apologetic and the look on his face...

The guy’s wife has anger issues. I’ve been a customer there for over a year, she refuses to listen to people when they speak and hears whatever she wants to hear. I was making a purchase using cash assistance, and with this method I have to choose it on the machine during payment. The guy has worked with me and used the proper equipment to have the payment go through as cash assistance. His wife doesn’t want to hear basic instructions, and instead kept insisting my card was declined and empty after having the card run as EBT Food instead of Cash. I repeated she was doing it wrong, that I have to use the other machine, she would yell at me “no! Declined! 0!” So, due to this ignorance and stupidity I leave and simply go to the CVS nearby to make the same exact purchase there with no issues. This guy needs to train his wife some more. Great customer service along with a good looking store layout / interior. You can tell the owner(s) care about the quality they’re providing. I was immediately helped my first visit as well which was great. I was surprised to see such nice of a store in Fitchburg to be honest. I’ll definitely be getting my snacks here during my time at FSU.

If you’re a student I recommend going here over the gas station up the street as they have better options along with a one...
