I really liked this store quite a bit, but in the last year or two it's changed drastically. I went shopping yesterday immediately after work, because we had high 90's - 100 for temperatures that day and I didn't want to have to go out later after working all day in the heat. When I got home, I realized there were multiple items missing. The bagger was socializing with another employee, so I began putting stuff in my cart myself. After a few minutes she then started bagging my groceries and apparently missed a bag of my groceries. This has happened to me on several occasions where I was missing groceries. I've called the store in the past and they've told me I can come in and pick them up. Most times I don't bother going back, because my time and the gas cost is more than the few items. Market Basket always has unmatched customer service, super clean, well stocked and an extremely helpful staff who will search throughout the store as well as in the back storeroom for anything that any customer can't find something on their wife's shopping list. Market Basket is always the best. I'm not sure why anyone would shop anywhere else. They make an effort like no other supermarket of keeping their shelves stocked and of course their prices are the best anywhere. When I lived in Revere, they opened a MB and it transformed the shopping center. For years, I shopped at the Chelsea MB until the Revere store opened. It was huge (40 or so lanes) and always packed.
