I visited this amazing place on my way to Asheville, NC. I am so glad I decided to stop. I thought I was going to spend maybe fifteen minutes geeking-out and be on my way. Boy, was I mistaken! I spent over an hour conversing with the incredible family that runs this gem of an establishment. There is an unending amount of fun stuff to make your inner child squeal with glee! No matter how nerdy or geeked-out you are over any particular intellectual property - this place will amaze even the most die-hard fanatic. The entire store is meticulously sectioned into well-displayed and curated avenues of toys and ephemera. If you don't leave this place with at least a small handful of stuff you can't "live without" - I think you should relinquish your geek-badge immediately. I got back on the road super-charged and with diminished expectations for my next stop (Downtown Asheville)....

Childhood Memories!!!

I’ve been here several times. I was so surprised at the large collection of vintage toys. They were in very good to excellent condition. Many with the box included. G.I. Joe, Transformers, He-Man, WWF figures, Ninja Turtles, Ghostbusters. They even had a My Pet Monster. I had many of these toys growing up in the 80s. It brought back a lot of happy childhood memories. A great place to take your kids, gift ideas. The owners are very nice and welcoming. No hovering included. Lol! Highly recommend!!!

Driving tip: If you’re driving from Asheville to Fletcher to get here, take the second entrance on the left just past the store. I find it easier to turn into. Just follow...

Fletcher's Fun Toys is an awesome place, it's run by a super sweet family. They've got everything from old school toys that'll take you back to when you were a kid to cool new stuff for the little ones. I mean, they have everything – Vintage Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, Lego, Star Trek, Gargoyles, Hot Wheels, Pokémon, Jibbits, a huge selection of POP figures... It's like a treasure hunt every time you go in. The prices are fair. I've bought stuff for my toddlers and even my husband who’s in his 30s. It's so much fun to look around and see all the old toys. You can also sell your old toys to them. It's the coolest...
