The Groves at Town Center — Local services in Fletcher

Truly enjoyed our experience living here. From having looked at quite a few other apartment complexes, this is one of the best deals and best living experiences in the AVL/HVL area.

The only tiny critiques or suggestions I'd say were not with the complex or management themselves - upstairs residents could be loud at times, and people piling trash or furniture discards by the compacter was occasionally unsightly (and I do wish that the apartment community offered some way of recycling).

More detail on the positive experience living here: Keith and Kent in the leasing office were always friendly and helpful. Maintenance was always very prompt and great about fixing things with good communication. The apartment was impressively clean with pristine carpet when we moved in which for me is a must as it sets the tone for the whole first impression. (I miss Groves every day as we're in a place now in a different state that's not nearly as clean). The floorplan was unique with 2 patios and the bedrooms were spacious with great layouts. While I do wish the kitchen and master bathroom had a little more space for a 3bd, that may be more personal preference. Absolutely loved living next door to Fletcher Park and getting to go outside in nature conveniently almost every day. Gated community was a plus, and even though the gate was broken for a while, we felt very safe here compared to some other areas of Asheville we've lived. Lived here for three years as a very low maintenance tenant. We were not told we would be moving into a handicap accessible apartment. It wasn't the same layout as the one we toured. Still, we didn't cause a fuss and ended up moving forward with our lease. Rent would go up considerably every year, but because the max they can go up is 10%, it was still cheaper than starting a new lease elsewhere so we chose to stay. There is never any parking and people just make their own parking spaces, even sometimes blocking you in. Management is constantly changing. Moving out was not a fun process. We were charged for damages to the apartment that included replacing carpet. Very pleasant place office staff very friendly I would like to point on Keith he is such special person with an excellent attitude and very knowledgeable about all of our moving.But I will mention about our living situation due to our neighbors from upstair it has become intolerable making extremely challenging to maintaining a peaceful and healthy home environment ,we understand that some levels of ambient noise is inevitable in apartment living but the intensity and frequency of noise from our upstairs neighbors are simply unacceptable specially at early morning hours.
