The Beaded Path (formerly US Bead Warehouse) — Local services in Florence

I am a total newbie and decided to take a class, (I was nervous because I have ZERO knowledge and just thought it sounded like something fun and new to learn. I have chubby uncoordinated fingers and never thought I could do any of this type of small item work, and I am now waiting to sign up for my fourth class!! The artists that, Jennifer the owner, brings in to teach classes have all been knowledgeable enough for the more advanced students and patient and kind with the newbies (even the ones like me who bring regular pliers from thier garage when she sees "Bring your own tools such as pliers" on the information for the class, Lol). Once you have learned a new skill from the artist you can shop in the adorable shop with not only beads but also the needed tools or supplies needed to make the item from the class you just took along with just about anything you could imagine and if it's not there Jennifer or her great employees will do thier best to try to find it for you at a reasonable price and order it. I look forward to learning more skills and making beautiful items with the help of U.S....

I love this shop and Jennifer is so easy to talk to and so knowledgeable of her products. She is also very helpful at craft suggestions and ideas, not only do I love her inventory but I genuinely enjoy just going to her shop to socialize. Her prices are pretty fair and quality is premium. She personally picks out the beautiful pieces in her shop so every strand of beads is picked with love and consideration of what she knows her customers will love. Highly recomended in the Florence area!

Update November 2023 Although I have moved away from the area, I still follow this shop and Jennifer online and always enjoy all the crafts, beads and hand made goodies she posts about! I recently ordered some merch she had custom made. Beautiful tumblers in the shops colors purple and teal with the lovely dragonfly emblem on front, for my mom and I as Christmas gifts, she had them labeled and ready to ship before I could even finish paying her via online. Jennifer is amazing, friendly, funny, and great with communication. I wanted to take the time to write a quick review after my visit from California to Florence, Oregon, this summer. I love beading and enjoy checking out the local bead shops. She had great quality beads at affordable prices. She, also, had local artist sell their jewelry there and I picked up a gorgeous set of beaded earrings. I am in contact with her now from California regarding some gorgeous sleeping beauty beads. Side note: There is another shop in town that has crystals, beads, and jewelry. From my experience, the locals may shop at US Bead Warehouse and the other shop is on strip mainly visited by tourists.
