After reading some of these reviews and clearly seeing the owner has ALWAYS had, and STILL has issues with small children and teenagers, I had to share my own experience. First off, I want to say I'm not one to post bad reviews. I understand we are all human and we all have off days. However now I see this was not the case, this is this womans true character. I lived in downtown Flowery Branch over 10 years ago. My 16 year old sister lived with me (she is an old soul and loves antiques) I also had a young daughter, she was 8 years at the time. On our first visit there my sister had 100 dollars from her birthday and wanted to buy some antiques. We arrived at the store 45 minutes before closing time. As soon as we walked in we were rudely told, we are closed! Thought that was a little strange, but whatever.. we left. We returned soon after to resume our desire to purchase items from her. We were then greeted with extremely rude looks, she watched us like a hawk and anytime we touched that was breakable we were told, don't touch that!! Needless to say we left without buying anything. I've never forgotten how rude this woman was and I'm appalled her...

"You need to leave now, this is private property!" We were not in front of the store, we were off to the side. I can understand if you don't want pictures taken, but there was absolutely no reason to be so rude and hateful. All you had to do was inform us you would prefer if we didn't take pictures and we would have apologized and been on our way. The only reason we didn't say anything right then is because we had children with us and did not want a confrontation in front of them. There are a lot of other reviews also talking about the rude attitude, so I see I'm not the only one. I have no desire to do business with anyone that is exceptionally rude, so we will never return for any reason. Plenty of other great stores in our area with nice people and pleasant...

I’m a Mexican American and I was being watch and the rest of the people there where not I personally felt I was being racially profiled.. as we were leaving my daughter stop at the counter to see if she was going to get a prize .. this mean so called owner had the audacity to say to a 8 year old “adios “ I took that as bad humor joke I told my daughter let’s go .. the lady started saying a Dios and laughing!
