went in to buy a grill and not knowing much about the things I knew i was in the right place right!? find someone to help and guide me through the process... well wrong store the was no one in the garden section when i finally found someone who was called over, he didn't have a clue about the grills but for what i was reading from the signs! true story... he did say he didn't know much about that section though went to the counter and 2 nice ladies explained that they just moved people around and my grill expert is actually an expert in another department so he wouldn't know anything about what he is selling.. well great way to boost my confidence here!.. on the day of the delivery i miss a call and call back exactly 20 minutes later. The driver tells me they missed me and the grill is going back to the store, he did say that the store should have called me with an eta and he couldn't help. A whole 20 minutes, call, to delivery to turn back time!! i called the store and asked if they could either 1. redeliver or 2. refund Another nice lady spend a good amount of time getting everything sorted out for me on a Saturday and had plans to re-deliver on Monday at 5:30pm. Monday gets here and i proactively :) call to see when eta is before 5:30!! they tell me the track is not back and will let me know when it gets back for delivery. 8 pm comes and i figured it was a bit odd i had no grill and no calls... i call Home depot again!!... well they have to figure out delivery again and they are doing all they can including getting the manager involved! alas! finally special treatment I am getting somewhere here!!... so i decided to make it easy no need for them to work that hard for my money right? i do that already.. refund and we all go our separate ways... wait! the computer wont came on, they need to go get help .. In the time the computer issues were getting resolved, another nice lady (yes a 3rd!!!) tells me my grill just left the store and its on the way.. Oh how nice.. well, this story will have to be continued.. i am still waiting and growing gray hairs by the minute! 2 stars for the nice ladies! but please keep driving if you are looking for great customer service.. this...
Read moreI have bought many appliances here over the years (along with all other home improvement projects). We bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from them and purchased their warranty. We then canceled our home warranty because with their warranty, there is no out of pocket expense for each visit. What a collasal mistake that was! In a year and a half our ice maker has broken 3 times. After it getting fixed the 2nd time, they informed us of their "Lemon Law" policy stating if the same part breaks 3 timely, they will give us a full refund. Of course, a week after it was repaired, our ice maker broke again for the 3rd time during our 100 degree summer days. Upon calling to request our refund, they then informed us it has to actually be repaired 3 times and break a 4th time. So now they have changed the rules. They now ordered a completely new door, which normally takes 3 months to manufacture, but there is no telling how long it would be due to Covid delays. I informed them this time frame was completely unacceptable during 100 degree summer days. They agreed and stated they would put it in for a review and for us to call them back in 3 business days. We have since called numerous times and all they continue to do is give us the run around for 2 more months. We speak to a supervisor who promises someone will call us back with an answer within 3 days. NEVER has ANYONE from the warranty services EVER contacted us back as promised. This has been going on for months. They are just waiting the 4-5 months for our door to be manufactured. When we ask for an ETA, they have no answer and say they will find out and get back to us. Read moreOn December 14th 2023 I came in to Home Depot around 12:30 in the afternoon to return a wooden pallet in order to get my deposit back but I left on my card . I waited quite a while in line just so that the female employee that was on the phone can call another customer up before me that came in way after me. So I calmly stopped her and said ma'am I'm sorry but I've been waiting in line for a while and that person just walked in so can you please help me out first. I guess she got upset that I corrected her and decided to punish me by sending me outside to the parking lot to bring in a large heavy pallet that I had to drag in to the store and she made me get back in line. Knowing that she sent me out and made me come back into a long line she should have helped me next but instead ignored me and was taking other customers that were walking in. the door after instead of helping me out. This other female employee notice what was going on, so I guess she felt bad for me and decided to call me up. She quickly helped me it took less than 1 minute to tell me okay sir your deposit has been returned to your Home Depot card. So I thanked her and I left the store extremely Furious never wanting to ever shop at Home Depot again! I can't understand why Home Depot would put such evil people behind the counter of a customer service department. There's right and there's wrong and this lady employee was clearly wrong, but felt good about what she did to me as if she was punishing me like a child was so satisfying to her.
