This was my 3rd time coming to this place. First time, it was excellent all around. The food, service, quality, friendless, everything was fantastic. The second time, very good experience aside from having to wait 20 minutes for my shake and it was made incorrectly. I assumed it was because they're training new staff, so I still wanted to come back.
Tonight, I came in and placed a to-go order and while my husband and I were at a table waiting for our order, at the table next to us were a young (late teens, very early 20's) couple who apparently ordered The Diablo but thought they were getting a hot dog, but they were being handed a burger. We know this because the staff who was dropping off the food proceeded to very loudly berate these kids for not ordering correctly.
You have TWO items on the menu that are in fact different, yet they have VERY similar names...why are you training your staff to ask clarifying questions? The "owner" of this location claims to LOVE In-N-Out and their business model... but you wouldn't know it from the way the staff works. Never in all my years of working in the food service industry have I seen customers treated that way for NO REASON. These weren't unruly teenagers, this was a quiet, nice couple who ordered ONE item, you guys messed it up, then yelled at these kids for it making the entire dining room uncomfortable.
I made the mistake of ordering a shake again, only to be told almost 10 minutes AFTER getting my food that they just added shake mix to the machine and it's going to be a while for the shake. Thankfully I was offered a refund. After seeing how the kids were treated, I was SHOCKED a refund was offered so quickly.
I get home, and the fries are smashed and stuck to their fry boats, the hot dog we ordered was smashed and falling apart. Thankfully the burgers came in clamshells, so they were protected, but for over $50, you can do better.
The food is good, but for the price, and combined with the terrible service, I don't think we'll be back. I honestly regret not sticking up for those kids in the moment. They just looked so sad and embarrassed. NO ONE should have to put...
Read moreI would not eat here. The first time coming here I walked out with no food because of a lack of good hygienic practices. I saw the cook come from the back with gloves on and deliver a tray to the table. He then proceeded to walk to another table and clean it off. Then he went back to the grill with those same gloves and no hand washing to cook more meals. On the second occasion someone came from the back into the kitchen area and did not wash there hands and applied gloves but proceeded to start touching their hair with gloved hands. My last and final attempt was when I walked in one day at 8:50pm and another man and his son walked in right before me and when the cashier got to me she said we stop taking orders at 8:30pm. However she had proceeded to ring him up and take his entire order and he walked in seconds before I did. I failed to get her name so I only no her appearance. She was a short brown skin girl who I believed might be Indian and a little on the heavier side with bright red lipstick on and curled black hair. I would've just called to get the name but surprise surprise they don't have a working phone number listed. Later that week I passed by and asked one of the employees for the manager to reach out because no manager was present on the shift and I don't think they ever are. The employee Juan took my number and name for the manager to call me but he never did. That was a week ago. I would avoid this place. Seems like a lot of kids playing around, not performing proper hand hygiene, making their own rules, and a lack of a...
Read moreMOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes in Fontana offers a decent casual dining experience, though with a few observations. We visited a couple of days ago and found the interior to be adequately clean and decorated, with seating for around 30 people inside and additional outdoor dining facilities.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Mushroom Swiss Burger. The burger tasted gourmet, a testament to their claim of using quality ingredients. The Personal Fries were also a hit, proving to be quite tasty. Service was a strong point; the staff were friendly, prompt, and cooperative, ensuring we didn't have to wait long for our order.
Unfortunately, the Little Moo Shake with Hershey’s Chocolate was a significant letdown. The shake tasted like a simple chocolate syrup addition to a plain milkshake, lacking any real chocolate flavor or richness. This was a real disappointment considering the promising start to the meal.
While the food quality for the burger and fries was good, the overall price seemed a bit expensive, especially considering the disappointing shake.
Despite the shake setback, the overall experience at MOOYAH Burgers was satisfactory. The delicious burger, tasty fries, and excellent service made up for the shake's shortcomings. We'll hopefully be back in the future, but might skip the Hershey's Chocolate...
