Please read. Do NOT SHOP HERE. Exp Food. and a surcharge to shop ??? I'm RUNNING to Marino's, Aldi, or even Walmart. Bought many different food items April 2018. Why was one food item expired December 2016 !?!!! Yeah 2016 !!! Also, four of my other food items were discovered to be expiring within 30 days, once I looked at them at home. All were either above average priced or way over priced to be a neighborhood grocer.. NONE on sale, clearance, or marked for quick sale. Disgusting!!. Took all of them back. I have been a loyal customer for years and if this wasn't bad enough, they have the NERVE to charge a "surcharge" up to 10% of the total grocery bill depending on how much food you bought that day. I always wondered why five bags of groceries was coming out to be $ 75 to $ 120 even before taxes. I'm NOT on any public assistance or SNAP. This place is a Ripoff, legal loopholes targeting the low income consumer. AND the back of the store at the meat Dept smells like rotten sewage and old fish ALL of THE TIME. I'll drive the extra few miles for better treatment for my hard...

Piggy Wiggly has come up to some standards compared to what they were over a year plus ago. Yet at the same time they have fallen short by following old habits in the meat department. A grocery store should not smell and you know right away where the smell is coming from. Nor should I go to the meat department and right away I'm turned away because the meat is old and looks as if it has set there for what appears to be two weeks. Your basically getting charge double with your tax if you ever been look at your receipt you get got if your not paying attention say something 16.99 like they 5 pick use to be it should have ring up no more than 19$ but when rung up it was almost 24$ so i question the cashier she was absolutely dumb founded at what i was asking her so i discontinued that transaction an went to Walmart if i go to the Piggy Wiggly it's the one in Homewood that one gets a 👍 they do not...
