Golden Wok — Restaurant in Alabama

I was looking for somewhere to eat and decided to leave a review just so people know I wasn’t going to at first but sumthing just told me to share my experience about a week ago sent my husband to go get food for me and the kids it looked really good my husband was not happy with the taste of his shrimp and he barley for any the plate was mostly vegtables I got the general chicken like always was really good chicken was a little crispy and the sweet and sour chicken for my 2 year old and 1 year old we all got the fried rice not even 3 hrs later my 2 year old woke up puking everything she ate up for about 4 hrs even water made her puke she was in tears shaking scared cause she didn’t know what was happening to her same thing with my husband puked everything he ate up as for me and my one year old instead of coming out the front it decided to come out the other end still very very painful and will never eat here again also 9months pregnant so over all not a good experience with this place just BEWARE !!! Don’t want the headache of dealing with the place we all know how that is they’ll just tell you it wasn’t because of them but it most definitely was please do not eat here and if you do hopefully you have a strong...

This USED to be our go to Chinese restaurant on this side of town. Excellent food, but last Friday was SO rude and unprofessional, this may have been our last time. We drove 30 minutes, asked to be seated and was told "we are ONLY doing take out tonight." There was a couple already seated with drinks, yet we were being turned away. I said, seriously? He said, "well you can sit down, but you will be waiting a while." HOW is takeout going to be faster than bringing it out in a dish. I should have said, OK, we'll get take out and eat it in the cardboard containers at a table. I get it your busy, but when you treat regular customers (or any for that matter) with this unprofessional and rude behavior - you don't need to be in the restaurant business. They are usually much slower and then they love for you to come in... but busy, they don't really care or need your business for that couple hours anyway. SO, we might be back - or not - either way, you've made some regulars mad and that will hurt your bottom line - especially since I know we're not...

Place was very disappointing i ordered steamed dumplings an while i was eating them i found a silver slingy Brillo pad you know the things that is use to scrub pots yea that was inside one of my dumplings i called to complain they gave me another one free i went to go exchange it got back home an it was 2 dead flies on a dumpling when i opened the container i called again an he told me “ well this was already a remake im not making them again just pick them off” an hung up on me ill never ever eat here again they are not keeping our food away from kitchen cleaning products an no form of pest control for the flies in the kitchen an to make it worse the guy at the front counter is very creepy he kept calling an texting my phone weeks after all this accured he had me send pics of the food the first time i had to block his number...
